Updating my 1 star review to 5! The female officer was amazing! Officer Campbell I believe her name was! With the help of the kids in the neighborhood, she was able to get 3 out of the 5 dogs (almost the 4th before he got too aggressive) that have been here over a week! She did more in less than a hour than any of the other officers combined! Kudos Officer Campbell 👏 great attitude the entire time! You could tell she cared, and made the kids on the street feel so proud that they helped the officer, and these dogs! Personally requesting her for any help in the future! Take some notes, fellas 💪

Pack of 5 stray dogs on my road for the last 3 days, my family has called 6 times, I know at least 3 other family's have called as well. Animal control, "cant get close enough." so we are stuck with them. So grateful to see that the one time we call upon those tax dollars they are incapable of delivering on the most basic of requests. Great job Roanoke County Animal Control, you're killing it!

my cat Seymour had been missing for over a week when I made a post on the next-door app and this lady let me know on the app that she saw an orange cat that was possibly injured and she called animal control and they came and picked up the cat and they took the cat to Angels of Assisi. when my boyfriend called the animal control place. They were extremely rude and acted like they had no idea what we were even talking about, not being helpful at all and extremely disrespectful. I’m looking for my cat who has been missing for a week and this is the treatment that I get. Then, shortly after I receive a call from angels of Assisi saying that ANIMAL CONTROL has dropped off the orange cat after. animal control denied everything. yall are lucky IM NOT THE ONE WHO CALLED because if you wouldve spoken to me like that it wouldnt have been pretty. disgusting people who have no regard for animals or people.

Called this morning about an abandoned kitty, sweet as a button. Some scum of the earth just left it on our doorstep or side of side of the road. Waiting for officer to call me back on what I can do. Dispatcher Thompson (?) Of Roanoke County was courteous and receptive to the situation. Will update.

I've called twice , I've emailed and no one got back to me there is two dogs in a small cage behind my house that have little food and water the owners never come outside and deal with them they are left in the cold and In the hot summer ! These dogs are hidden behind cars and I've done everything I can and no one has responded to me completely ridiculous!!! These two dogs could die because y'all don't seem to care !

I called about a dog being abuse. I witnessed it happen. I gave them all the information they needed to check it out and do something about it. They did nothing. So sad. You would think they would help to get a poor innocent dog away from an abuser. They said Bc they didn’t see it happen they wouldn’t do anything. How pathetic. Thank you for nothing.
