Description We are a progressive veterinary practice located in north Knoxville just off I-75 and Clinton Hwy. Our small staff allows our clients to build a relationship with their pets' doctor and know you will always receive the same level of excellent care. We see dogs and cats as well as small exotics and reptiles. Callahan Drive Animal Hospital is a full service animal hospital and welcomes both emergency treatment cases during office hours as well as pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Dr. James Hilla has years of experience treating serious conditions and offering regular pet wellness care.

First time coming here and was today 10-16-23 and I can’t explain how happy I was with the staff. Our normal vets office is closed on Mondays. They took us in and took care of Otis our cat. The Dr and the assistants were all amazing, friendly and spoke with kindness yet very informative, Definitely will be coming back.

Doc Villa ALWAYS takes care of Studly Dudley!! I will ALWAYS recommend Callahan Drive Animal Hospital & their entire team as they truly do care for your animal in the same way you do!! Dr Villa has cared for Dudley for most of his SIXTEEN years & he’s still happy, healthy & strong!! I strongly believe, Stud has made it to this old age so gracefully due to the care he’s been given with this facility!! I would not trust another team than Callahan Animal with my “first child”, the only place for us to go!! Highly recommended!!

Dr. Hilla and his gang are a very great group of people. Caring, knowledgeable, compassionate, and just all around great people. We have entrusted 3 of our doodles with them and love the relationship not only that they have with our pups but also the relationship we have as clients/family. Thank you all. 👍🏼

Garfield was so grateful to get a clean bill of health. As his vet suggested, this 13 yr old Fat Cat is on a diet. Hes not happy about it for sure but Mama explained it will make him feel like a "kitten" again. Even Daddys on board with the new program. In unified support we went on our own diets. Thank you again, everyone was very kind and very understanding. I trusted my friend Debbies judgement on where to take him and I'm so glad we did. Big G is not afraid anymore and says he will be back in 1 year to prove it. :) Big Thanks and Many Kudos...this is THE junction for kitty and cat care!!
