My boy has been coming to MedVet for 4 years. He’s a senior dog and a cardiology patient. Dr.Leuthy has been absolutely amazing! From the first day we saw him, he was completely frank about my boys condition BUT was compassionate and caring. All a dog mom could ask for when being told bad news. You can see he wholeheartedly cares about his patients. I would recommend him to anyone that has a baby with heart problems.

I brought my dog, Cubby, here last week when he experienced sudden paralysis of his hind legs. The intake process was efficient and they triaged him quickly so we only spent about 20 minutes in the lobby before being taken to an exam room. Dr. Volbrecht was the ER doctor, and she quickly and clearly explained her initial assessment findings and suspicions of a herniated disc causing the paralysis. I appreciated her being clear, concise, and compassionate with her explanations about what was likely going on & his plan of care (including a need for an MRI and surgery). Dr. McAllister with neurology took over Cubby’s care. She was always extremely compassionate, empathetic, and gave me detailed updates about his condition without being overwhelming. She gave me twice daily updates throughout his hospitalization and was clear and upfront about changes to his neuro status and prognosis. I appreciated her frankness and honesty when discussing Cubby, and this made it much easier when I had to make the decision for humane euthanasia after a worsening of his neurological status post-operatively. Although this was not the outcome I had hoped for, I really appreciated Dr. McAllister and every other employee I encountered at MedVet. They even had a social worker available to speak to on the phone when I was having difficulty making a decision. She also stopped by prior to Cubby’s euthanasia and was so kind, which I really appreciated. All of the employees here have made an extremely devastating time a little easier and I know they took great care of my sweet Cubby during his last days. I highly recommend MedVet for their compassionate and knowledgeable care. Cubby and I were lucky to have found MedVet.

I usually do not write reviews, but I had to as I cannot speak highly enough about the team at MedVet. We came in around 8pm with our 9year old bulldog, Nala, in an emergency situation. We were attended to extremely quickly, got to see a doctor within 5 minutes of check-in. Dr. Heidi was compassionate, clear and concise in her explanation of Nala’s condition, as well as transparent about pricing. Nala passed away shortly after that. Afterwards, we were treated with so much kindness and compassion by the whole team. We were given a space to mourn and time to process. The whole night was honestly shocking, and I’m still processing. This was a week ago, and today we received a hand written card from the team expressing their condolences. I cannot emphasize enough how grateful I feel to have had the team present from the beginning to the end. Thank you to the doctors and staff at MedVet (shout-out to Dr. Heidi!), you were all amazing and I wish you guys the best 💕

While emergency visits are never fun, we always receive compassionate, timely care at MedVet. The staff are caring and communicative, and every member of the team does all they can to ensure my loves get what they need.

2nd post 4/2024 I would like to take this time to thank Medvet once again. In 8 months they have come to my rescue yet again. My dearest and sweet feline Paris has transitioned. I am sitting here with such a heavy heart ❤️ knowing that he was in mourning from loosing his adopted canine mother name Angel, whom we lost 8 months ago. They were inseparable for 14 years and once Angel left us, Paris just wasn't the same. The only thing that is keeping me at peace is knowing that they are now together again. I posted photos of Angel on this site 8 months ago and now I'm posting photos of Paris and the two of them together then and now. I want to also take this time to thank MedVet again for EVERYTHING! If anyone is ever in need of any assistance regarding either health care needs or counseling services for their loving pet, I would definitely recommend Medvet. From a heart ❤️ broken pet mom!!! 1st post 08/2023 Me and my family deeply appreciate MedVet for the expression of sympathy and kindness that they showed my family during our time of bereavement. They were a huge comfort in guiding us through the cremation period. Nothing can replace our sweet dog Angel, but we are very satisfied!

The staff were patient and helpful, from the initial phone call to my dog’s treatment. They were calm and reassuring given the level of care required. This made a huge difference in my anxiety level. After my visit I called in a panic and the tech immediately took my call to help. I’m grateful for my experience in such a highly stressful and scary situation.
