VERY disappointing. I love cats and want to support, but this is not a THRIFT store. Prices are ludicrous -- found many items from shirts to cups to printers marked at prices HIGHER than brand new. You all understand that blank t-shirt are $4 new, right? Who is buying $9 T-shirts from a 5k they didn't run? Out of touch "How much could one banana cost, $10?" vibe. Also, they won't let you use the bathroom. Is that even legal? Middle of nowhere strip mall, what are you supposed to do?
I've found lots of treasures here and it's all for a great cause! Highly recommend, one of my favorite places to shop in Santa Fe.
I used to love this store, but recently the prices have gotten so high, that it would much cheaper to buy them new. I found a nice book for $75.00, took a quick look online, and found that they were all in the $11.00 range new. They wouldn't lower the price. Then I found a beautiful bowl from World Market but saw that the price was $38!! It's so crazy. I love the store and a couple of the employees, but won't be back.
The store is clean, well organized and has a wide variety of items. Friendly staff and reasonable prices make this a fun store to shop at. I bought two dresses and a pin/brooch that I'm thrilled with. Parking was a breeze in their off-street lot. Bonus, there was an adorable cat available for adoption in the clean, spacious, comfortable cat apartment (I made this name up, I don't know what they call the cat space). Overall, a very positive shopping experience.
By far, this is Santa Fe's best thrift store. It is packed with all sorts of goodies including clothing, accessories, books, furniture and jewelry. Plus it benefits the Santa Fe Animal Shelter, so everyone wins. Their stock constantly changes, so you can go as often as you'd like and find "new" things. The donors are really generous, and you can get amazing deals here. Even our local famous folks bring things to this shop. The staff is always very helpful and nice- very down-to-earth. The prices are reasonable, and they use a color-coded tag system, so prices drop automatically. The jewelry is evaluated and tested, so you know what you're buying. If you like thrifting, this is a place you should not miss. It's a fun experience, and it benefits a great cause.
Very fun the workers were very polite and they have stuff for so many types of animals
