What a fun park for a dog! I haven't owned a dog in 20 years and I'm 4 days in with a well socialized 1 year old German shepherd mix, so we had a lot of fun here. Lots of fun social dogs were at the large dog park (there's a small dog park across the parking lot), my dog had a blast and i had a blast watching him have fun, I'm sure some of the dog owners thought I was a little excited and weird 😆 but it was really enjoyable. Plus lots of open space and sky, so a treat for humans in that way too. I'll definitely be back here, I think it's totally worth the drive. The parking lot was about 2/3 full, but the park was still not what I'd say crowded by any means, there was still space to have some 1-1 space with your dog which was cool. For non natives, watch out for cacti and goat heads too...They're out there and you might have to pull one out of the dogs paw. Have fun! 🐕☺️🌈☀️ *Edit added photos 📸

Such a great dog park! I love that the park for small dogs is so large. It seems a lot of dog parks forget small dogs need room to run too! Has two shaded areas for pet owners to sit. Water for dogs is provided. We went every day of our stay in Santa Fe!

Incredible dog park! Multiple large fenced off areas for various uses (small dog, solo, etc.). The main one we spent time at is gigantic and feels like you’re just wandering in the desert beneath the mountains - all while being safely fenced in. Watch out for stickers and cacti in your dogs paws, but it’s honestly no different than hiking anywhere in New Mexico.

I used to go to this park on a regular basis - even though my dogs got stickers in their feet sometimes. Yesterday one of my dogs got attacked by another dog as soon as we entered the park - completely unprovoked. Thankfully my dog was ok but in the process of trying to break up the attack I fell and injured myself. Some dog owners bring aggressive dogs to this park.

I absolutely LOVE this place, so beautiful and clean and the people are always friendly. Single use dog park, big dog park, little dog park and mixed. It’s got extra bags on fences if you forget yours and water for dogs. It’s a favorite for me a my two pups.
