I brought an orphaned baby duckling to Athena's Wildlife Sanctuary and Sherri was wonderful, very friendly and welcoming. I was sad for not being able to provide a safe home for baby Molly (too many cats around where I live), but I felt at peace leaving her with Sherri. I could never provide at home, the freedom, peace and comfort that I found at Athena 's, for Molly. Ty for all you do for the Wildlife.

Found an injured baby opossum, called here and she had me take it to the emergency vet to be checked out,while she was on her way to pick it up.i called the next day and the opossum was already in foster care. She has resources and responds quickly.

Sherri is amazing! She came to our home today concerning a huge black bird down. She was so knowledgeable and her love of wildlife shows. Thank you so much Sherri.

I saved that bird from the side of the road. He got hit by a car and couldn’t move. I called Athena’s rescue, and she arranged a transport in an hour, and took the birdie to the vet. I hope he’s going to be OK.

Best place for wildlife rescues! My husband had found a fresh baby raccoon pup; eyes still shut still had its umbilical cord and everything, in shipment of trees that came all the way from Fort peirce! Gave them a call and within the hour they had someone coming out to get this precious baby! 10/10 recommend

Went to bring my kids out here and the place was a fright! A dilapidated dump unkempt and filthy. Maybe the animals don’t mind but i kept driving… super scary!
