Description Nature Coast Animal Wellness & Surgical Center is a family owned practice and we don’t believe in the one size fits all approach to medicine. We believe in finding the best treatment for your pet’s individual needs. Dr. William Stocker has been providing our community with more than 30 years of experience in Orthopedic Surgery, Surgical Laser, Comprehensive Medical & Dental Services and Soft Tissue Surgery and Ultrasound. We are happy to announce the arrival of Dr. Marin-Morales to our practice as well. Dr. Marin- Morales has over 10 years of experience and has a passion for preventative care, internal medicine, endocrinology and dermatology. Dr. Marin is a member of the AVMA and FVMA and enjoys soft tissue surgery and dentistry.

The clinic is clean. The staff are so nice, welcoming and knowledgeable. My baby had surgery due to a CCL tear and everything went well.

Best Vet Ever!! They truly care about the animals and not lining their pockets! Dr Stocker and his team are very knowledgeable and they take the time to listen to your concerns which is very rare these days. If you're looking for honesty and compassion in a Vet, then look no further. Also a plus they make your pet feel at ease instead of creating more anxiety!

This is Sweet Brandy. We adopted her last week from the pound. She was thrown from a moving vehicle. Her health started to drastically deteriorate the last few days. Vet did X-rays found very badly injured lungs and fluid in the lungs. She has a chance to survive do to the compassionate team of heros at this office!!!!!! Without them she had no chance of surviving! These doctors and techs charged me the bare minimum for what should rightfully have been an extremely expensive treatment day for this girl! Extensive treatment . They also sent us home with a bag of meds and want her back in the morning to continue to try and save this sweet pup! Please keep her in your prayers, she is not out of the woods. Also please pray for the wonderful humans working here!Their love and generosity make this world a better place!!!!

This office is the most amazing vet office you will ever find!! In 2021 my dog was diagnosed with bone cancer. Dr. Stocker and his team did everything they could to help our Sadie, and give her the longest life they could. For a year they cared for Sadie, and made sure she was comfortable. In Dec of 2022 We had to put Sadie to sleep. Dr. Stocker and his team were so caring and amazing during that time! We have 3 other fur babies, and I wouldn't think of taking them anywhere else! If your thinking of choosing Nature Coast as your vet office you won't be disappointed!!

We have been very happy coming to Nature Coast with our fur family. Our feline friend is ferocious for foreign faces and the team here treats her with respect even though it’s not reciprocated. The team raves over our puppy as if she were a part of their own family - you couldn’t ask for more. Ani is our favorite vet tech (no offense to the others who are all amazing). Dr. Marin-Morales has been great each and every time. It always feels like a partnership rather than being talked at, IYKYK. I recommend the team here to all pet owners. I thought this man was a wonderful veterinarian after bringing my dog in for a torn CCL. She was non weight bearing on her back left leg and in a lot of pain. I’ve never had a vet listen to my concerns for my dog the way he did. He also went out of his way to explain things to me, making sure I understood everything. We decided on surgery and went ahead and set the date for it. Unfortunately they cancelled on us, shortly after confirming the surgery appointment, a few days before it was to happen. I feel they prefer their clients to be of a certain social class that I am not a part of. So if you are lucky enough to fit their ideal picture of who they want for a client, lucky you. If you do not, expect a last minute cancellation. Also my experience was the staff does not communicate with eachother. If you are told anything by a receptionist, make sure you ask to speak with the doctor or a technician to ensure that the receptionist has the right to speak on behalf of the doctor. They needed a full bloodwork for my dog before surgery. The surgery is a lot for my income, so being my dog just had the bloodwork done a month prior I asked if they could use those test results in order to save to have more money to put towards the surgery. I sent test results from another clinic in via email, and the response I got from the clinic was that they got them and if there doctor had any problems with it they would be in contact as soon as possible. Only to find out later when they we’re canceling my dogs surgery that the staff member was not in a position to speak on behalf of the doctor and he did not appreciate me not bringing her in to get the bloodwork done their. Had I known that, we most definitely would have had the bloodwork done again. I thought I wanted this doctor to help my dog so bad, but they turned their back on her, canceling right before the surgery that would let my dog walk again. I was told “I’m uncommitted to my dog”. Which was so wrong to say, if they only knew the love I have for her. Luckily we found a non-judgmental surgeon who really cares for the dogs wellbeing and not just for his practices appearance. My dog got TPLO surgery 9 days ago and is already walking on four legs again!
