We love everyone here! The staff are polite and are always willing to answer questions when I call. This location also allows prescriptions to be filled/verified through the CHEWY app. Penelope and Smokey say thank you for taking care of them!

I was looking for a vet practice that wasn't banfield. I'd heard about this place for years, so I took my 2 older dogs for a visit and vaccines. I really love the fact that they don't push unnecessary vaccinations, I was able to get a next day appointment, they were efficient and very friendly. I have found a new veterinarian for my babies.

Absolutely lovely, down to earth clinic. Sad that I'm about to move and wish I'd found them sooner. Highly recommend. My cats were in great hands.

An employee from this establishment came to my home in her scrubs and violently banged on my door, demanding I come out and talk to her. I would never trust my pet/fur baby with someone as rage filled as she was. I was so terrified that I ended up calling the police. She is violent and dangerous. Please be safe when in her vicinity.

Mt. Vernon Animal Hospital has been providing exceptional care to my cats for well over 22 years. The place is immaculate, the customer service is exceptional and Dr. Owel is second to none. She's very patient, gentle, smart, skilled, experienced and a great listener. I highly recommend this place. My finicky cats love her and her staff's do I.

Still happy; Still 5 Stars 🌟 We adore Dr. Owel and continue to refer her to others seeking an awesome vet with a great balance of care and reason, meds vs. supplements, and the list goes on. *********** Was in search of a vet. No longer liked the philosophy and lack of care our previous one in Woodbridge provided. I was exploring acupuncture to help my senior dog, who has occasional knuckling due to early arthritis. Seeking a vet that you can not see/meet in person during COVID is a daunting task. I'm so glad we went. Pleasantly surprised that cold laser therapy, that is half the price of acupuncture, mind you, was what was recommended as the more ideal approach. My pup had the pleasure to be seen by Dr M. Miller. She took so much time on the phone with me; asked what seemed like 50 questions to help her form the best picture and provide us with recommendations. I never felt pressured, nor did it feel like I had a salesperson on the other line. We will be back for sure. Check them out. I will definitely recommend.
