The vet is awful. They treat you like you are inferior and stupid if you refuse something that costs $500. My daughter dropped my dog off there and the vet made her feel terrible, she came home crying because she was forced to pay for something that my dog didn’t need. She threatened to give my dog surgery and she didn’t take a picture of my dogs wound so we don’t even know what it looks like. Her credit card got declined and the vet still forced my daughter to use a different card when she said she couldn’t. When a patient says no, that means no and this place does not seem to understand that at all. I will not be coming back here and I would not recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel seen, heard, and respected when going to a vet.

Great patient (and patient parent) service. Good explanations. I miss the days of the vet doing an examination in the small room. I know the pandemic was an issue, but I wish it was possible.

Dr. Kamei is absolutely wonderful, as is the staff. I trust her with all of my pets yearly dental cleanings as well their annual work ups. The other veterinarians and the staff have all been phenomenal as well! I highly recommend using this animal hospital if you want high quality care for your pets.

Had a terrific visit with our 17 year old Coton with Dr. Vanya yesterday. She delivered not great new to us with tremendous kindness, understanding, and compassion. She provided highly useful suggestions and advice. While the news wasn't great, we greatly appreciated her professionalism! Thank you!

We’ve been bringing both of our girls to Belle Haven since each of their Gotcha Days (over 4 years)! Dr V is our main vet of choice but every doctor, vet tech & staff member have always made us feel welcome & well cared for. We’ve gone through, annuals, pups eating entire tubes of lotion, eating raisins, allergic reactions to bee stings & even getting in a last minute appointments. Last week they fit us in for a day of appointment to take a look at our eldest’s skin as she was itching a lot & we were about to leave town & didn’t want her uncomfortable while stuck at home with the dog sitter. Dr. Collings was so helpful & gave us everything we needed for the sitter & our pups.

Wonderful care for our dogs!!! Especially liked our puppy’s introduction to the resident cat!! Update: Our puppy is now 2 and the older one is 7, Belle Haven Animal Medical Centre continues to give excellent care to our dogs.
