Words not being to cover the gratitude that I have for the staff and this clinic. My pet got sick over the weekend at night, me and my family live in August , the hospital that was near us dismissed us over the phone and told us that they were not taking any more pets and that we had to drive an hour to SC. I looked up what clinics were open and this one appeared, we called and they told us that they were going to be waiting for us. Once we got there they took care of absolutely everything and immediately I felt at peace because in my heart I knew my pet was in good hands. The staff was so loving and caring they gave me and my family emotional support the entire time. They truly saved my Bobbie’s life and I am forever grateful. It’s good to know that there are people out there that truly love and care for our animals.
This review serves as a heartfelt tribute to the exceptional care provided by the staff at SC Emergency Vet and honors the memory of our beloved dog, Ruby. We are a Veteran and Active Duty military family; in February 2024, just six weeks after an unexpected military relocation to South Carolina and the challenge of my husband's remote deployment, we tragically lost Ruby. Ruby wasn't just a pet for our family; she was my husband's faithful companion, four-legged sister, daughter, and our baby. In our time of distress, unsure of where to go, your facility was kind, professional, and comforting, competently directing us where to go and how to arrive. From the moment I walked through your doors, your team embraced us with compassion, guiding us through the process with sensitivity and understanding. Despite the heartache of saying goodbye to Ruby, your staff provided solace and support, easing our burden during such a difficult time. The care and empathy extended to us will forever hold a special place in our hearts. When we finally brought Ruby home this week, the urn and paw print you provided offered us a tangible reminder of her presence in our lives. To the entire team at SC Emergency Vet, we are eternally grateful for everything you did for our family. Your unwavering support helped us navigate through a period of immense sorrow, and for that, we will always be indebted. Rest easy, Ruby, 2015-2024. You will forever be cherished and remembered.
Dr. Clementson was amazing and the whole process from beginning to end was so easy and really helped us take care of Bella. Lauren and Beck were also amazing, helping us through the process. Everyone was professional, helpful, sympathetic, patient, concerned, and went above and beyond!! The BANDAGE... TEXTBOOK. When I removed the bandage the next day I was AMAZED and thankful that Bella had been so well taken care of. That bandage was worth the whole amount we paid. It was pristine and perfect in every way. Thank you for everything you did, and we know if ever in an emergency situation we will be back and will be taken care of! That takes a lot of stress of any situation!!
Our sweet fur baby Pico had to be admitted for a very scary issue a couple of weeks ago. We really thought we were gonna lose her. This facility was amazing as was their staff. The vet techs taking care of our baby Hannah and Shanada (I really hope I got that name spelled right) were amazing and continuesly gave us updates as asked. Dr Reeser was very knowledgeable and did everything to make sure it was safe to bring our baby home. Unfortunately I do not remember the name of the first vet that saw her the first day we took her in but she was also very good. She is now fully recovered and we are so grateful to all the staff. The reception staff was also amazing and very friendly, sorry I wish I could also remember their names. Was it expensive? Yes, but this is an emergency vet clinic so I would expect it to be. However, never once did we feel that they were trying to get more money out of us then was needed to safely take care of our dog. 100% recommend this facility.
My cat was recently treated at SCVSEC after suffering a seizure. While we didn’t have the outcome we hoped for, I know she received great care. Dr Hall and Dr Mabry were most caring and compassionate toward both my cat and me. They showed concern for Chloe’s quality of life and guided and supported me in making the decision to end her suffering. I felt fully informed about the care provided all the way to the end when Dr Hall thoroughly explained the end of life procedure. I appreciate all their efforts and am confident my sweet kitty could not have received better care anywhere else.
They saved my life! I got into some pain cream because it smelled like almond. My person found me at 2:00 a.m. with my tongue hanging out, pile of vomit around me, and totally non-responsive. She got my neighbor to help get me in the car and drove me to the ER immediately! They saved my life! After 3 days in hospital I am back to my old self! I love them there and want to lick all of them! ❤️ Cosgrove the puppy!
