I’ve fostered for Pawmetto Lifeline for years and they have always been wonderful to work with. But recently, I’ve had stray kittens come to my care on their own and Sam with the Community Cat Program has been AMAZING with all of her help. Between helping find homes for the kittens (through PLL) to helping fix the stray/feral mama’s, she’s been incredible to work with. Despite the volume of calls and emails she receives, she’s still prompt with her responses. Because of Sam and PLL community cat program, I’ve personally “rescued” 12 kittens and fixed two mama kitties this kitten season alone. I highly recommend reaching out to PLL and Sam with the community cat program if you’re in need of assistance with feral/stray kittens.
I want to give a 11/10 review for Pawmetto Lifeline's Home-to-Home program. I found a sweet dog on the side of the road recently and the timing was not the best. Tina, the program coordinator, responded to my inquiry almost immediately and was more than willing to help me. I agreed to foster him and they helped me with his vet visit and neuter surgery and I only had to pay a small fee. Tina and the rest of the staff at Pawmetto that I dealt with came together to help me in a time of need and were there for me with simple words of encouragement. With a rescue overwhelmed with numerous homeless pets coming in every day, the Home-to-Home program makes it possible for more furry lives to be saved. Please consider this program if you find yourself in a situation like I did. I promise you won't regret it!! Fortunately for me, this ended in a foster fail. Dallas says adopt, don’t shop!
I really wish I could give zero stars for this place. Let me start by saying if you're looking to adopt do not go to this place. I adopted from here after doing a meet and greet here. This place lied about the dog being trained and left out that the dog bites. I had to return this dog back because he was not a good fit for my kids and safety is important. This place is now attempting to charge my credit card after they now have the dog back. Oh and did I mention the unprofessional director rudely banned me from here. She even tried to ask for money just to take the dog back which I didn't pay. That's fine with me because I see this place is all about money and do not care about safety and are not honest or professional. They really should be shut down to be honest .They also don't tell you upfront if the dog is sick or anything.I can see the director has already been under the other posts being rude and telling lies and I am not surprised at all. PLEASE find another place to adopt from who actually cares and is honest. This place is not who you think they are!!
Just adopted our second kitty (Bunny) from PLL. Everyone I met there was so friendly and helpful. As soon as we walked in Ms. Williams was right there waiting to greet us. You can definitely tell she has a huge heart for animals. She helped us complete all the necessary paperwork and was so thankful that we were giving a homeless animal a loving home. Hugs to Ms. Williams - she is amazing!
I took my puppy there to get her spayed. Helen Cotton was the most amazing front desk person and her assistance was remarkable. Never had a doubt I knew she was in good hands with the staff and Helen. Thank you Helen for such a smooth experience. You are amazing!!!!!
I do not know what we would have done had it not been for Pawmetto Lifeline. My fur-baby decided to eat a tassel of some sort. How did we find out? She began vomiting to the point of clear fluids only. Following a 1/2 day of this I took her to the emergency vet where she had labs and X-rays. This was also on my daughter’s birthday. Nothing remarkable presented. She was given nausea meds and we brought her home. She was not improving so we took her back the next day. She had another xray and again nothing stood out but she was not improving and salivating terribly. We kept an eye on her but after paying for two ER visits ($1k) our emergency funds were depleted and our fur-baby remained uncomfortable with no improvement in sight. We knew she needed to return and probably stay for monitoring and further evaluations however, we did not have the funds. After tons of research we found Pawmetto Lifeline and what a blessing they have been to our family. They took her into their custody and my fur baby received the life saving care needed. Meds, fluids, and surgery to remove what we now know to have been an obstruction. She was treated with love and care and in two weeks she had her staples removed. I am so happy to report at 3 weeks post surgery she’s back to her playful self!! I HIGHLY recommend Pawmetto Lifeline for furry family members!!!
