We were going to Garners Ferry Animal Hospital when we had an emergency on the weekend. Since Garners Ferry is only open Monday through Friday 8 am- 5pm we had to go to CVETS and found that there could be an 8 hour wait. I called SWAC and they were kind enough to see us within 1.5 hours. The staff and Dr. Bradley were amazing. We decided to see Dr. Cosentino as Milo's regular vet and went in for a meet and greet and to get Milo's Bordetella Vaccine and Flu Vaccine since Garners Ferry Animal Hospital does not, at the time, have the flu vaccine in their office. We have since transferred Milo to SWAH and have not been disappointed. The staff that I have spoken with several times in office and on the phone are professional, accommodating, and friendly! I would highly recommend SWAH to anyone who needs amazing, friendly, and caring veterinarians and staff! Thanks for being there for us and Milo Shandon-Wood!

I Love dealing with the staff at Shandon-Wood Animal Clinic. Dr. Atkinson is top notch. He is so kind to my animals and takes time to explain everything to you. I had to put a pet down this year and he stayed with me and my husband the whole time.it was like we were his only customers at that time. I enjoyed going here and the staff is kind and helpful.

Shandon Wood is amazing. They found a way to fit me in for an emergency, and even though I know they were already so busy, they were extremely kind and patient with me and helped me get my cat the emergency care and relief that he needed. Everyone was so caring and smart, and I appreciate their dedication and service to families in this community! Can’t recommend them enough.

We are new patients and my husband brought our 1-year-old rescue to Shandon-wood with double ear infections, and needless to say, we were upset for him. Besides getting to be seen (quickly) on a Sunday afternoon, the doctor could not have been nicer. So glad we switched to this practice.

This place is way more than a vet clinic in so many ways! Most importantly, they care about your animals and it shows in their interactions with both pets and owners. They want you to be able to walk out with answers to most of the questions you have and a sense that your pet is healthy or on a path to feeling better. This place is worth every dollar I’ve spent in the care of my dogs. I highly recommend you give them a call!
