I have their vet service for 3years. They have neutered cats/dogs for me. They always treated my animals with a heart. Very professional: I have a black lab I had taken to them( the dog was abandoned and kick out at a doctor’s office). Charlie didn’t trust no person, he growled at the receptionist, took off for the door, tried to get out the door. The receptionist was great with him. I watch for a little bit, she finally got him to go to the back. When I picked him up at 4pm. The price was great. As Charlie came from the back. He was bebop-ping and not growling. Great place. Oh by the way: to the person’s who wrote about cats everywhere, I used to use another vet in town, they had multiple dogs/cats wondering around. I think about 6 dogs and 4cats .

Not only does the office staff act like she is too busy to be kind, unless you just need a simple service like shots or toenails being clipped, do not trust them to give any accurate medical advice or have medication needed for your babies to live a quality life. I had to take my sister in law and have her dog euthenized because this vet was negligent at best with the care for this animal. This poor dog was having back to back siezures, and this clinic did not seem to care at all. After taking her to Cadillac vet and having blood test done which had never been done by lonestar vet we realized to much damage had been done by previous medications and the best we could do for this dog was euthenize her. Iy was so sad she was only 3.5 years old. Cadillac vet staff was more than amazing.

Lone Star Vet has been seeing my pets for over 10 years. I have always been treated with kindness and respect from everyone at the clinic. They have been willing to work with me even to help give my babies the most important treatments when I had little money. I have been to both Swann clinics and they charge 2-3 times more for the same services I get here.

We've been taking our dogs to Lone Star for 6 years, and I wouldn't want to take them anywhere else. Ronda and Dr. Katie are awesome - the whole team there has always been great! We have a special needs dog and I trust his care at Lone Star!

We had a terrible experience with this clinic. Our cat was very sick for days and it needed immediate attention. The front staff was uncaring and kept our cat all day while we had to be off work. We were told we had to wait until the following day to get X-ray results after an all day wait while our cat was so sick and we were concerned that he might not be ok. We ended up taking him to another vet that treated us well but now we are out 500 for no results. -*update my cat is now dead the day after being with these horrible people. The results of his blood work and X-rays were never sent to the other vet that I paid for. They finally called the new vets office, that was trying to untangle their absolute horrid treatment, only to claim the cat bit them the day after which is lies after they read my initial review I posted here in retaliation. The new vet had to call the police on us because they had to cut his head off and send it in for rabies testing. Why did they allow us to leave the clinic in the first place if they suspected he had rabies and had bit them?! By the way he had none of the symptoms he died of until he left their clinic. I honestly believe there is some malpractice that happened while he was there. Please do not take your animals to this place! They have cause my family so much emotional distress over the last two days and the worst part is we have lost a member of our family.
