If I could put no stars I would. This dog has been slowly starving to death and I have reported it for the past year. When yall come out yall say “he’s fine”. I don’t know who needs to see this so something can be done but this is getting ridiculous. It’s getting colder and this dog is going to end up freezing or starving to death.
We were helped by awesome people and found 2 beautiful babies. We are glad to welcome Gibbs & Peaches into our home to help gill our home with even more love & laughter watching them grow up. Thanks for helping us fill our home with joy once again. The Alexander's
Read reviews people! Brought home a dog Saturday, it’s not Sunday. People were really nice but my new dog has ticks big and small. I have a phobia of bugs (no discrimination). Now my home and other dog needs to be treated. I looked and saw that this happened to someone else’s dog, wish I had read reviews.they need to treat their facility and dogs before they go.
Sometimes you have to make tough decisions, I had a dog and I had to take her there for adoption. The dog was not from a good home when I got her, but she was never aggressive toward me. I know she’d probably be abused the way she’d hide under anyone’s feet. I was afraid she was going to cause my grandma injury by tripping her. I couldn’t get her not to go for hiding under someone’s feet. I hoped within a month, they’d find her a home, little did I know, they euthanized this little baby 5 days later for being afraid of them, she knew to be afraid. I asked and in a rather aggressive tone they said “SHE’S NOT AVAILABLE!” they shared a memo, other dogs got 30 days, but not this 5 month old puppy. She got 5 days. They kept a wall with photos for dogs who’d been there longer than 30 days. She hadn’t even been there 2 weeks. Of course a dog is going to be afraid of strangers. I trusted these were good people who could at least find her a good non abusive home. Imagine if it were a toddler. They acted scared to talk about it, I have no idea why. If you were doing what you knew was right, surely you’d have the conviction to not be afraid to discuss the decision you had to make. Maybe they weren’t doing the right thing. God knows. The tall man a young, white guy in his early 20s with the long hair and the arm tattoo said to me sternly “that’s what happens when you bring them to a shelter.” In reference to putting the dog down. I honestly hate these people. They didn’t have to insult me, for making a decision I had to. There shouldn’t be shame in this, size and age doesn’t matter they told me. Sometimes you have to make tough decisions, I suppose when it comes to murdering puppies, these guys are the ones to call. It was a dumb situation to be in, but I’ll head that warning, I’ll never take an animal to that shelter again.
My sister had her dog here for quarantine. During this stay here the dog was picked up after the ten days with tons and tons of ticks on her everywhere!!!!! She did not have ticks on her when she got there!!! She is very well maintained and loved! She had one bad incident. But to have a dog there and get ticks from your place is VERY UNACCEPTABLE!!!! Your mission is bogus! If y'all truly cared about the animals, then this would not have happened! Clean your facility!!!!!!! So to everyone else reading this review, I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this place for anything that has to do with your animal.Go somewhere else!
Great experience for first time pet adoption. My kitten came home neutered and vaccinated for basically free ($5). The people inside were really nice and obviously cared a lot about the animals. Would love to adopt from here again.
