High Plains consistently provides excellent care and service. We love that they get us in quickly, they are happy to see us, the prices are reasonable, and we feel like we are paying for exactly what we need…no more, no less. Dr. Shepherd is kind and informative. We always hope that we get Baylee as our tech because she remembers our pup and he loves her!

My experience with this place is awful. Went once. (2023). (Once too many). New patient. Reported symptoms to vet (Dr S*) for my dog at his visit. Zero concern. Had to ask for bloodwork. Blood left out unrefrigerated in the hot weather for 5 days. I discovered it had been left out, not them. No offer for a redo: (she did offer a "discount" on next bloodwork.) Called again after his appt to report more symptoms. Ignored. No reply. As a result of their neglect, my dog went undiagnosed. Heart and pancreas issues found by new, qualified vet. High plains has quite the nasty staff. (2024). Just look at their reply to my post. See what I mean? Do you want your precious animal in hands like this? Staff and vet care very poor. Just look at other recent one-star reviews and their replies. Sickening. Disturbing. I definitely do not recommend.
