We were on a road trip from San Francisco to Los Angeles when our Chihuahua found a dark chocolate Easter Bunny that had been lost in the car and ate it all. This small veterinary practice I'm Bakersfield took took us at a moment's notice even though they were very busy with appointments they made time for us they did Shortie's blood work, gave him detoxifying medicine as well as probiotics and liver support medicine for aftercare they even consulted with the canine poison control center that we had called before going to them they used their case number to contact the poison control center and get advice. They were friendly and kind accommodating and reasonably priced. We will never know for sure what might have happened to our dog if he hadn't gotten treated but thanks to four paws he made a full recovery.

Took my puppy in to get an object removed from her mouth. The staff got us in quick. The front office staff was so helpful and sweet, answered all of my nervous questions. The doctor was gentle and understanding and was very clear on the plan to treat her. The vet tech was very accommodating and made sure my puppy girl was comfortable. When we left Isaac made sure to tell us how much he enjoyed caring for my baby and how much the other staff enjoyed caring for her. I had a great experience and was comforted by the staff that treated her like my baby like I did. Overall great experience.

Tried getting an appointment on a Saturday to get my cats claws trimmed. Couldn't take me until Monday. Called San Jauquin they got me in that very day!

100$ for a misdiagnosis. Took new kitten in with missing fur. Nurses were very kind, helped me when they could. Wait was fairly long, Vet took one look and left the room promptly. Nurse came back with prescription for ear infection. Turns out kitten had ringworm, now whole family is infected. Will not be coming back.

Unfortunately, we had to put our beloved Duke to sleep after 10 years of being with us. The staff was so compassionate and comforting. It was like they felt our pain. Thank you 4 paws for making this horrible experience, a smidge less painful 😔

My poor dog had a sore on her female part, dr wouldn’t treat till we paid over $500 for lab, shaving, medication why a shave? Are you kidding me!!! Run don’t go there, most pet owners don’t want their dog in pain, but who can afford that!!! What a disappointment for the animals that are in pain! I still can’t get over shaving her female part to see what, and she is not hairy in that area! I finally agreed on a creme to apply, she nearly jumped out of my husband’s arms, it must have burned! Stupid me… lucky Dr Cooke had an opening!!
