I just wanna give a shout out to whoever was working the desk the day my pet was neutered. It was on April 1 of this year, she was so wonderful and super super super helpful. Answered all my questions and, as a new pet owner, made me feel so comfortable in post surgery care. You guys are amazing! Thank you so much! What I appreciated most about Angell is friendly and professional staff

The application was easy. Response time was quick. Staff were professional, building clean. My pet was well and happy to see me when I picked her up. After surgery, care information was provided. < br /> I had concerns, after surgery, I made a call to the clinic and was responded to quickly. < br />I was given information after explaining my concerns, and was given additional information and treatment options. What I appreciated most about Angell is, there professional services provided the proper care I wanted for my pet, at a price I could afford .

I was an emotional mess calling for an emergency visit but the receptionist on the other line stayed cooled and collected explaining their recommendations of bringing Benjamin my bunny in to be seen. They were able to calm me down in the process and get all of his information to be prepared for his arrival. The vet tech who took Benjamin into the back was so sweet and calm as well. When I got to speak with the Veterinarian she explained all the details and different diagnoses that he could have. The exam was thorough checking his eyes, ears, teeth, no head tilt, and they took amazing care of him shaving the area that needed to be shaved, clipping all of his nails for me, and even giving him hay to munch on. Benjamin was so calm and happy leaving Angell so I know he got lots of pats and they took great care of him. I highly recommend for everyone else- could not have asked for a better experience! What I appreciated most about Angell is the staff. They are caring, attentive, and able to hold calm in stressful situations for the pet and owner.

I’m so eternally grateful for the staff at Angell. My rabbit sustained a serious wound and within 5 minutes of checking in he was taken in the back and given pain meds to have on board while we were waiting for a doctor to take the case. That meant a lot to me!! I would like to thank Dr. Elena for saving my rabbits life as I walked in preparing to have to put him to sleep. She assured me I didn’t have to make that decision just yet. Dr. Elena explained every diagnostic/treatment she would do and why in depth. I never felt rushed off the phone and it was clear how much she cared. She even saved his leg! I also would like to thank Emily, the exotic care coordinator who kept me updated multiple times a day and sent me photos of my boy- it meant more to me than they will ever know. I was a wreck and it put me at ease. And lastly, his fantastic nurses who kept a close eye on him 24/7 in the ICU and took care of him. He’s not the easiest patient to deal with! After having hospitalized my other two bunnies at a different ER in the area in the past that has now stopped seeing exotics, I am blown away by how much better the exotic care and knowledge at Angell is and how cheaper it is. I will recommend Angell to everyone!

Angell used to be top notch. It has deteriorated considerably over the last 50 years I have brought my animals here. This is just a money grabbing facility. My most recent experience evolved into a 48 hour nightmare. My dog had swallowed a sharp pointed object and I drove two hours to get there. She was given apomorphine twice to induce vomiting and the overworked vet told me some pieces had come up and it was safe to take her home. Then he decided to do right, lateral and frontal radiographs of her GI system. He showed me a darkened area in her stomach and told it was “concerning” and therefore, my dog needed to be hospitalized. My credit card was charged nearly $4500. For 48 hours I could get no update on her status. The front desk is so poorly trained and downright rude. At rush hour two days later I was informed I had to pick her up by 9:00 p.m. or I would be charged an additional $500 just to keep her in a cage. When I arrived the next morning, a beastly receptionist wearing a massive nose ring informed me a vet had contacted me and that I was to give 30 minutes ahead of time to have her discharged and shouted at me to sit down and wait. I received no such call. I politely asked to speak to a manager who screamed at me. I collapsed on the floor from utter exhaustion while he shouted at me to “get off HIS floor.” Since when is a veterinary hospital personal property? I held up my hand in a stop position and told him to please stop screaming at me but just discharge my dog. I received a two page itemized bill for various services including administering the medication I myself brought for my dog. The ‘patient summary’ consisted of five sentences and no radiology report. When my dog was finally brought out to me, she was overjoyed to see me and immediately bolted for the exit as did I. We will never go back.

Dr. Sullivan and tech and admissions staff were so very nice. I appreciated Dr Sullivan's evaluation and honesty. What I appreciated most about Angell is the specialty equipment and exotics department. They are fairly and comparably priced as well for exotics, which was a bit surprising to me, but appreciated!
