When I moved to East Boston mid 2021 it has been a couple of years since my little guy had been to a structured daycare. By that point there had been a lot of changes in life, personal and work, on top of spending 24/7 by my side the past 2 years. When I mentioned this to a close friend he had nothing but amazing things to say about Harbor Hounds. The amazing difference he saw in his timid pup with her confidence was night and day. While my little dude is anything but timid, his anxiety (seperation and otherwise) was at an all time high. My dog has been at Harbor Hounds for 2 years now and cannot say enough great things. Sarah, Lindsey and the rest of the employees there are beyond kind and caring. No matter the day, every time I drop him off his tail is always wagging. They let Yuki be Yuki all while helping him improve and learn along the way. It's made a huge difference in both his and my life.

The Harbor Hounds crew takes amazing care of our puppy; such great care that we can’t even say the words “day care” at home because she gets so excited to go! We often times joke about her being “daycare wasted” because she has so much fun that she comes home exhausted! Hands down the best money we spend each week - even better knowing we are supporting a kickass Woman owned business! I’ve been taking my dog here since the Fall of 2023. She absolutely loves it and always pulls toward HH when we walk by. She can’t wait to see her friends at daycare! They get her energy out while also allowing her to rest, and even get warm and snuggly with the staff (she’s an Italian greyhound so she gets cold easily and is very “needy” for attention lol). We used to bring her to a daycare in Newton that we adored but when we moved we were nervous that we wouldn’t be able to find a place closer by as good as the old place. Now Kevin loves harbor hounds just as much as the daycare she used to attend. My only hope is that one day they’ll offer boarding services! But it’s so nice to have peace of mind knowing she’s taken care of during the day while I’m working.

Sara and the team at Harbor Hounds are no less than amazing! I know when I drop my dog Lily off that she is going to have fun, get her energy out playing with her friends, and be safe and cared for all day. They take great care of our dogs and I wouldn't trust Lily any where else. The team creates a real connection with the dogs, and I know when I drop Lily off, she can't wait to get inside and greet her human friends! This place is the best!!
