I adopted my puppy Cooper from the VBSPCA and made an appointment for him to be seen by the vet and get checked out so he could get heartworm prevention and the staff went above and beyond to make Cooper feel welcomed and loved! He got a few more additional shots and didn’t even know he was getting them since he was getting treats to distract him. He is going to love going to the vet knowing he gets lots of love and treats.

I brought a family pet here yesterday for a squinting eye. My appointment was for 6, I arrived 15 minutes early, and I was taken back very quickly! Dr. Nunez did a thorough exam and talked through everything he was doing. He and his assistant, Zach, were very friendly and great with the cat. Overall, I was very pleased with my visit here. The prices were great compared to other places in the area, and the service is superior too. Strawbridge animal care has always been somewhere I trust to take my pets. Thank you guys for all that you do!

Excellent experience. Small office but they have it well organized and the team are really nice and helpful. They worked with us to get paperwork for our cats' overseas travel ready, making what is a normally complicated process much simpler. We love Dr. Kenyon and Vet Assistant Alexis, and we will be back!

We've been with Strawbridge Animal Care for almost 5 years. Two years ago , we've moved away from the VB area, and this place is still our primary care for our beloved boy. It takes us an hour just to get there, and even though it is very time-consuming for us to have a visit there, I still prefer this clinic because I know I can trust their team. The team is always welcoming and friendly. They always give cheers to our shy boy Tobby. Dr. Stephens is an extraordinary vet! She is enthusiastic and patient. She calls my dog a "kiddo," and it always brings a smile to my face. We did a dental clean and tooth extraction procedure yesterday, and I was very impressed with how it all went. The team kept us updated throughout the day. Dr. Stephens called me multiple times to update and explain new findings. I was very confident that my dog was getting the best care. Overall, this is a great place! The team and doctors can be trusted. I'd highly recommend them!

Our baby Junie was behaving strange the afternoon before Thanksgiving when everyone was closed or closing and all the emergency vets were turning us away. Dr.Stevens and their staff squeezed us in and looked over our baby, helping us weigh our options and easing our fears of a blood clot by informing us of normal symptoms of clots and what to keep an eye out for until her follow-up. It's been a tragic year for us losing many loved ones including my mom, so the thought of something happening to our sweet girl Junie too was absolutely devastating. We're so very thankful for Dr. Stevens and everything that her and the staff did to help our little Junie in her time of need. If we lived closer and we didn't already have a vet that we adored, we would 100% trust our girls to be under her care for wellness and emergencies. Junie is back to her healthy, spunky self two days later and we couldn't be more grateful. ❤️😭

Strawbridge is definitely my go to Vet! I drive from Kempsville just to use them! The staff is amazing, friendly and professional. I have a dog Gypsy and 2 cats, Oreo, and CaraMia and they all patients. They are all treated with the utmost care and like they are their own pets!!
