Wow, I am so thankful for this rescue. There was a sweet male cat living in my neighborhood. He was not feral and was having a rough time adjusting to life outside. I reached out to this lovely rescue and they took him on. The facility was so nice and clear ran so well. It gave me such peace of mind to know that sweet Goose was going to be here. Thanks for all you do!
Hope for Life is the BEST! The team really loves and cares for each fur baby! I have dealt with them on two occasions! If you're thinking about adopting a pet, I highly recommend Hope for Life! You won't be sorry!😸🦮. Love my Reggie
I’ve always supported shelters/ rescues and their mission. I have assisted with multiple fosters through this “rescue” and have always felt a little off about their process. Recently it’s come to my attention that one of the dogs that was previously adopted as a puppy has been sitting in Animal Control for a month who is now 60+ pounds because they claim to not have space. Although I’ve seen multiple intakes of puppies which are easier to adopt out. Seems like this is no longer a rescue but a full business and profit driven.
I had the pleasure of doing a quarantine sleepover with a puppy. I was first looking to foster, but currently my Dog is waiting on her yearly vet appointment so was unable to foster at this time. Camilla who answered all of my questions is simply AMAZING! I had a lot of questions, and not once was she short with me. She was very detailed in every question answered. I seriously can not boast about her enough. She was truly awesome, and so kind. That alone is why I give this place 5 stars!
They are quick to respond to your application. Facility is nice and it seems that they take good care of the animals. They allow you a home visit to make sure the dog/cat you are interested in is a good fit for you and your family. I’m happy I was recommended for Hope For Life! Please consider adopting for them!
We lost our 17 month old pug and were devastated. I came across Hope for Life rescue. I was just scrolling through and I saw the. cutest little puppy that needed a new home and we had lots of love to give him. We filled out the application and in the afternoon we went to get our scheduled tour. We walked in and it was complete chaos! The staffed looked confused and asked us what animal we came to see. They put us in a room with the puppy we wanted. There were 3 other dogs in the room and only one bed. After 15 minutes the staff came in very rushed and told us we could take him home for 10 days on a trial ???? We said no we wanted to adopt him. We took him home and immediately noticed he had a vision problem. We had to go back in a week to get his shots. I asked the staff about his vision and they said nonchalant someone mentioned a problem with his sight. Would have been nice to have known that before we adopted him. We took him to the eye doctor and they confirmed that indeed he had a sight problem and he would need special attention from us. Our dog I called Pauline the director to ask about this problem. I signed a contract saying they would take care of any problems that came up that we were not aware of at the time of adoption. Pauline got very angry over the phone and insisted her contact did not say that. She was very angry and shouting. She told me to bring him back!! Pauline I’m waiting for you to contact me,
