If you come in after hours, the rate for an exam is $165. However, you will not get the option to pay that $165 and leave. My dog had run through a plate glass window and had lacerations on his front right and back right legs. First option that I was given was $ 1,418.69 . I asked what about the $165 examination and and I could just have him take him to my vet in the morning. The nurse had a deep belly laugh at that and said okay I'll give you a bill for what we've done so far. I said well what you've done so far is the examination now be happy to pay the 165. She said oh no we've already done some a little bit of surgery and the minimum bill will be $459. We've put together his lacerations with sutures and Staples but he's going to require a skin graft and that's going to be the extra $1,000 but we can do that tonight. So I paid my $459 after making a couple of phone calls at 3:30 in the morning. And so far Fireball, my Staffordshire Terrier, seems to be doing pretty good but you don't get to pay the 165 just so you know.

I thought I had an emergency on my hands, not a fatality, but in my hour of need the staff were helpful, compassionate, and thorough. This experience was already stressful & emotional, but I'm so glad Dr Garner was able to advise me & explain calmly what to expect from each of my choices. I felt more informed and in control after given my choices openly & honestly. I felt my pet & myself were both respected. Would highly recommend.

IF there was a ZERO, that’s the rating I’d give. Aside from complete lack of compassion (especially from the front desk woman, Courtney- who should be fired immediately!!), these “vets” should lose their medical license. They misdiagnose, inflate prices by THOUSANDS of dollars, and prey on people upset about their pets!! They wouldn’t answer simple questions like: what are the surgical risks? What is the recovery time? NOTHING. They’re so consumed with collecting thousands of dollars, they just don’t care. Absolutely unforgivable. They ALSO MOVE ALL NEGATIVE REVIEWS TO THE BOTTOM!! RIP RHEXIS. I’m sorry I wasn’t wise enough to take you somewhere else.

Our Spike was very sick when we brought him to the emergency center. We made the heart breaking decision to do what was best for Spike. The staff was very supportive and compassionate towards Spike. We are very grateful.

If I could give this place less than one star I would. My dog was excessively drooling, barely breathing, shaking, vomiting, and his pupils were fully dilated. We took him here and they did vitals, X-rays, ultrasounds, and much more. They sent my dog home saying he was fine when he obviously wasn’t. Then he got worse so we took him back two hours later and they told us he was now dying and septic. How they missed that 2 hours before I have no clue? All these people want is money and they prey on people’s emotions because they don’t want to loose their animal. Originally it was $1300, then we turned around and it was $5000, then we turn around again and they say it’s about $8000. They still were telling us to do the surgery even though he was septic. He would die in surgery if he was septic and if he happened to live he would maybe be alive for 5 hours afterward. These vets and staff have no clue what they are doing and I’m only 19 and can read these diagnostics better than they can. PLEASE never take your pets here. I wouldn’t wish this emotional damage on my worst enemy.

Zero stars! Brought my 7wk old puppy here on Easter. She was having Parvo symptoms. They told my husband and I to get her off the counter, scan a QR code and wait in the car, after saying how pitiful my puppy was looking. We wanted to give our puppy some air so we put her on a puppy pad outside to wait until they called us back in but they threatened to call law enforcement for loitering, while standing outside our Vehicle. There was two white guys standing outside their vehicles & walking around but they never said a word to them on the intercom and the security had a very rude demeanor. (Racist vibes). After waiting 2hours they told us to pull around back just for the nurse to inform us it would be $310 for a test and our puppy would die without treatment. No billing options, just if you don’t pay they don’t care if your pet dies. These people don’t care about your pet they care about your skin color and pockets $$$$$
