We adopted Okja 6ish years ago. He was (still is) personable, handsome, and the staff knew he'd be a big hit as soon as they got him. When my fiance met him (formerly Gomez Adams), he knew this beauty was the boy for us. The staff was kind, considerate, and helped us determine if we needed a second. They tested him with a kitten for us, and advised us, appropriately, that he was a little too playful at that time. They could have easily just went for the sale; however, they cared more about the best situation for all kitties and kittens. We were lucky they helped us adopt him so quickly and painlessly. We are so happy. He's a good boy, and his health is incredible. We're really lucky to have found him and had HHC's help in prepping him for a domestic lifestyle.
August 17, 2020, I brought this handsome devil home from Harmony House. Paws Gasol is still a wonderful addition to the family. I could tell he was well taken care of during his time there.
LOVE!!! Made a life altering spontaneous visit to this wonderful shelter and now my girlfriend and I have two gorgeous little kittens. The cats at Harmony are as happy as they could ever be in someone's home, a credit to the staff and the great facility. Hours are limited, but it's absolutely worth making your own life altering spontaneous visit to Harmony this weekend!!!
We adopted this handsome boy from Harmony House. He's very comfortable around people & our other cat. I believe it's because they had him in a room with other cats instead of a cage. I also saw a few people stop in to visit the cats while we were there, giving him exposure to several people. I would adopt from there again but two is our limit due to our small place. Update: Our first cat & Paws Gasol are getting along great. HH has great advise on their website & in person about how to introduce a new cat to home.
A great place for cat adoption, no-kill shelter, with lots of large rooms filled with cats and kittens. New building built in 2012. Could use some organization, but the dedicated staff know the cats and can give a personality profile on each.
This organization is terrific 💯. All the of the cats of adoptable age are clean, chipped and friendly as all get out. Now there are some cats that should only be adopted as a pair and the organization will make you aware of this. Also I suggest at least two "meet and greet" visits - first, to check out which ever cat(s) appeal to you second, bring everyone who will be interacting with the cat(s). Also please consider adopting a"senior" to provide a loving home to. My experiences with HHFC have always been great. Their prices are more than fair. All paperwork is provided.
