Wonderful items a plenty, friendly staff but today while visiting some crazy customer with a autistic kid started screaming at everyone and threatening to hit people with her car. She was incredibley rude to everyone in the store and it will be a sad day if something comes of this to any of the employees involved.
I’m kinda upset with the thrift store. I called and trying to set an appointment to have them pick up totes full of misc stuff like dishes, cooking stuff, crock pots, pictures, sewing machine in cabinet, large victrola, and lots more and I’m 2.7 miles away and I don’t have a truck. I was told to call some other charity. But you know what I support the animals and try to do my thing for Marion county and this is the things I get! SMH
I hate that there are soooo many things that are marked not for sale,if this place really donates to the humane society you would think everything would be for sale..I also asked if they truly donated to the marion county humane society and they said yes...towels..really??
Organized and clean. No weird smells. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They were willing to work with us and help us find something for my Mother-in-law wedding, even searching through the new stuff just coming in. I am a movie collector and 6 movies to add at $1 each. One thing I wasn't expecting was that there was tax on the movies. But then I was given a chance to donate to the Humane Society for the Animal facility. Found some good buys - still searching for a dress.
The crew that picked up our living room furniture were more professional and polite than most commercial establishment services.
Was out and about yesterday and wondered into this Thrift Shop. The concept of this store is great in helping with the Humane Society and it’s shelter animals! My rating is purely based on the cost of used items in the store and the odor. The shop itself has a lot of neat things if you’re someone like myself who’s an antique and DIY kind of person, more then likely you’ll find something here, I did! Some of their stuff for being used and being that it’s a thrift store are a bit too high in my opinion, as I feel that thrift stores aren’t meant to be overly high in cost being that everything is used and some not in great shape. Especially if you’re going to repurpose it and spend the money to do so. The employees are very nice and it’s a large place so your going to find something I’m sure. The shop does have an odor to it which was a bit off putting but manageable. All in all was a good store with a lot of what you might be looking for if you take the time to look. Happy Hunting 😊
