This is my first time adopting a cat (all of my previous cats had been strays) and I was a bit nervous because I’d heard that some shelters in Chicago have arbitrary restrictions on whom they are willing to adopt to. This place made the process very easy for me. In addition to the application, they interviewed me about how I planned on taking care of my kitty (I passed with flying colors). The facilities appeard to be very clean and comfortable, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The cat I that adopted seemed well-adjusted and she bonded with me pretty much immediately. I took her to the vet today and two different staff members commented on how extraordinarily sweet she is.

I adopted my sweet Huey from here in January after looking on PetFinder for months to no avail. They answered all my questions with patience prior to my appointment and helped make the adoption process seamless. He has flourished over time and is feeling more brave everyday! So happy with my sweet boy and hope to find his childhood buddy Dewey for a play date soon!💕

The staff was AMAZING! So kind and efficient. My kitten was spayed, and she is doing great. The prices are very reasonable. The facility is clean and inviting. Can't say enough great things. Don't listen to the negative comments!

It was OK. I had to turn in 4 kittens I had raised from birth. It was sad. The place is sad. The workers the ones I saw there, were sad-looking. Wasn't very friendly. Had me waiting in a room so long that I had to get up to see if they had forgotten about me..smh..let's just say, after coming from that place I wish I had just set the kittens free outdoors. 🥹😥
