We’d used Eastlake a few times but after a routine visit to get some yearly vaccines for my two cats before moving out of state, I noticed a lump on my Cat’s back thigh. The lump was in the location that they gave him the Rabies vaccine which is usually one of two things, an allergic reaction, or an injection site sarcoma. I first noticed the lump about 12 days after the visit, so I was fairly certain that it wasn’t an allergic reaction. After taking him to a vet closer to where we had moved for a second opinion, we decided it would be best practice to remove the lump completely incase it was a cancerous reaction due to improper vaccine practices. $4k and a biopsy later, the results came back pre cancerous. I am so unbelievably lucky for catching it as fast as I had, but this isn’t something I should have to worry about after a simple procedure. The vaccine was administered incorrectly and because of it, my cat was almost subjected to a set of insanely aggressive cancerous tumours shortening his life. This incident, endangered my cat's life, and I really hope this review highlights the importance of proper vaccine administration. This isn't a simple service error; it's about an animal's well-being. I hope this feedback raises awareness for both the clinic's management and future customers.

The staff here is wonderful. I had to euthanize my sweet dog Millie after 15 years and they made this time more comfortable for me. The staff is so caring and sympathetic and really show how important our fur babies are. Thank you for helping me during this difficult time.

3 weeks ago, playing ball with my young golden, she ripped a nail on each of her front paws. Took her there for the first time. They treated her at no charge. We took our very old golden for a check up. They were professional, friendly and the prices were more than reasonable.

I don’t usually leave bad reviews but this is an exception. I’ve been taking my cat to this establishment for well over a year. At first I thought it was great. Staff was friendly and the vet listened to my concerns. A bit pricey but that’s the cost for treatment. My cat had been experiencing abdominal pain for a while and I made an appointment to have him looked at. When I mean looked at I mean fully looked at. My cat seemed uncomfortable and his stomach was huge. I had an appointment and it took them almost an hour and a half to see me. When I did get in I spoke mostly to the nurse (she was basically the vet.) When I saw the vet she and I spoke about what I told her nurse. I gave her my concerns but she mostly mansplated to me about my cats pain and it could just be his weight/idigestion. When I tell you she didn’t even TOUCH my cat to assess him. She stood by the door and told me what could possibly be wrong with him but didn’t even look at him. The consultation didn’t even last five minutes. The vet prescribed medication that could treat indigestion. A week later I had to take my cat into emergency surgery at another clinic. The other clinic touched my cats stomach and immediately knew he needed treatment. Turns out he had stones in his bladder that was making it difficult for him to pee. The inflammation he had wasn’t indigestion, it was his bladder about to burst. I’m so angry. This could’ve been prevented if I was just listened to. My cat is stable but in critical condition. Do yourself a favor and do not trust this clinic with your pet.

Took my cat for spaying. She did really well. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. We have found our new vet place
