I began my journey with Luv-A-Pet in January 2024, but my interest was sparked back in December 2023. Thanks to Ashley's seamless sign-up process, I quickly found myself immersed in the rewarding world of volunteering.Working in the Cat Room at Petsmart has been an absolute joy. Every visit brings new interactions with cats of all ages and personalities, each one seeking their forever home. It's heartwarming to witness the impact we can have on these furry friends' lives.Volunteering here isn't just about cuddling cute kittens (though that's definitely a perk!). It's about making a tangible difference in the lives of animals in need. Whether you're socializing with shy cats, comforting older ones, or simply lending a listening ear, every moment spent here is meaningful.One aspect I particularly enjoy is capturing moments through photography and sharing them on social media. Not only does this help raise awareness for these lovable creatures, but it also encourages others to get involved and lend a helping hand. Luv-A-Pet relies on the support of volunteers and donors to continue their lifesaving work. A great experience with Luv a Pet. Rescued Layla a very sweet kitty. The entire process was warm and welcoming. All foster based, showcasing the precious kitties at Petsmart on 441... next to Hobby Lobby...remember these are organized by Volunteers!! Thank a volunteer today!

So disappointed with the ladies who run the Mash Unit. Took our 6 month old Tidus there 3 weeks ago to be spayed only to get a heartless phone call telling me I'm sorry she didn't make it. Finally received so called written report that looks like chicken scratch. Waited 3 weeks and it's written on plane paper with no vitals weight or anesthesia used. Not even a signature or condolences. I wish we never took her to a place like that. With the way the handwriting is on paper that so called vet probably shouldn't even be performing surgery on people's furbabies that are family. My daughter and I are very upset and still devastated how a healthy kitten ends up dead. I was told last animal that died was 4 years ago. I find that hard to believe. Think twice before you try to save money and take your babies there.

We picked up our little Milkdud from Luv-A-Pet about 4 months ago. He quickly turned into our best friend and we couldn't imagine our lives without him. Can't thank Luv-A-Pet enough.

Tried e mailing them several times for an adoption no one gets back to you. I guess they don't want to find homes for there animals. Poor service.

These people lied to me and gave me a very sick cat. I spent several thousand dollars on her to make her better. She had ear mites and was only 5 pounds when I got her, still on baby food, all teeth full of plaque with raw gums, and was two years old. She couldn't even jump on my bed. I had to get stairs. She didn't eat/drink the first 3 days I had her. I brought her to my vet. I was worried to death. I text her that my vet said "if one cat has ear mites all the cats do and need to be treated." I text her all the information about that, all the bills and everything from my vet so she could see I was telling the truth. Well it's all been erased. I think she took it off so nobody can see. That's why I'm telling you now. If you adopt a cat from LOVE-A-PET check to make sure they don't have ear mites. Check to make sure they don't come from somebody's house in Royal Palm Beach. The picture they show as being in office is not the office. The address on the card 1127 Royal Palm Beach blvd is a post office. And the number you see is the post office box. I asked for a quiet laid back cat because I'm a senior citizen and this one was, at first because she was super sick. Now that she's better and very healthy, she's too much for me to handle and I had to give her away. I had to spend over $5,000 to get her better. Thanks LOVE-A-PET I'm going to let everyone know how much I don't love you. I'm a Catholic woman and I follow my commandments and don't bear false witness against people. I'm telling the truth.
