If I could give zero stars, I would. This place must only be nice when you’re adopting. My husband was working a job in the area and he came across a young very scared cat. Him trying to do a good deed decided to take it to a shelter as it didn’t have a collar and looked sick. I googled and came across this place being one of the nearest rescues around so I decided to call. I called a few times and immediately got voicemail each time. I started to look for other rescues nearby when suddenly I received a call back from Lona who from the start was incredibly rude. I guess I inconvenienced her by calling 4 times. I could barely finish my sentence before she cut me off and said they’re at capacity and we can’t just show up to drop off a pet (which would’ve been fine - I get that most rescues are full) but it was the delivery. It was absolutely disgusting and appalling. She offered zero resources to help and just had the worst attitude. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. We ended up finding a more genuine, polite and helpful rescue in the area.

Lona from Pet Haven Rescue not only rescued my late mothers cats but she also rescued me! It was a terrible situation and her and her organisation helped me more than she will ever know. She is kind and caring and truly, truly only does what is best for the animals. She and her rescue are amazing!

Pet Haven Rescue has been the BEST rescue i habe ever gone through. Their fur babies are so well cared for prior to findimg their furever homes and tbey are so well behaved. I adopted my furbaby at just 3 months old and he was already listening to commands, does very well with potty training, and is so sweet to my children. I would recommemd this rescue to anyome who wants an amazing experience with adopting. Thank you so much for our new furbaby!! He is the best!

Lona helped me adopt our puppy Boots and he is the sweetest boy .It’s an amazing place, where people give their all to help animals get adopted. A dedicated training and medical team that saves lives. A place of hope! Support in anyway you can it’s worth it.
