Tried calling, tried texting, and tried emailing- received zero response. I was trying to help rescue an injured bunny I found and these people couldn’t even respond to say if they could or couldn’t help or even if they know someone who could. I’m sure they do great work and I mean no disrespect. It’s just not helpful to the community to never respond, even if its a few days later you should still reply to people.

The “owners” are local burnouts that look shady and under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. This is supposedly a 501c (or a non profit).. but I got a bad vibe the minute we walked in. The male was wearing clothes that looked like they hadn’t been washed in months, was dirty (his fingernails, hands, hair, shoes, etc) and slurring his words. This is not a place to bring your kids. They maybe spend 5 minutes a day with the animals and that’s very apparent. The “rescue” is a warehouse type space with no windows and no ventilation. It’s dirty, smells like urine/feces, is very dark and extremely overcrowded. We were appalled.. They aren’t rescuing animals, they’re trying to rescue themselves from having to get jobs and the prison, ooops I mean rescue lol, looks like a front for the dispensary that closed down NEXT DOOR. Hmmm.. My wife reported them after seeing the condition of the animals. We will continue to follow up until this place is shut down!!

Kadie amd Wyatt are amazing! Their rescue is so full of love, care, amd knowledge. In an emergency situation they act very quickly and will come to the rescue to help just about any animal they can. When surrendering our reptile, they made adequate space for him and we talked thoroughly about his care plan. We still get regular updates on him and lots of pictures. We cannot recommend them enough! Thank you for all you do for all these critters!

I found a pigeon that was injured and I was so impressed how Zootown offered their help readily. They were so informative and empathetic, and even kept me updated on the pigeon. I Highly recommend them for fast acting solutions with an injured animal and also if you have questions about interactions with wild animals and signs of injury. Thank you for your help!
