This place gets some of the best sunsets I've seen in the KC area. You can rent a shelter, or when no one else is renting it, walk past the gate and enjoy the amenities.

The shelter area is nice but there were wasp nest in the shelter that should have been removed. We were ducking & dodging wasp all afternoon. It was very inconvenient.

I can't say much, but I'm not going to bring the rating down because of it. It's a great space with a lot of potential for all sorts of events. I just went there for a picnic date and got to see a couple deer which was very neat.
