Description At Kansas City Protective animal welfare society, we are a non profit organization specialize is cases of animal cruelty and neglect. We work with other private rescue groups to save as many dogs as possible through our match based adoption process. We also offer dog daycare, boarding, and grooming. Our pet service profits go directly back to our rescue dogs in need. We offer safe, temperament based playgroups and our dedicated staff will get to know your dog on an individual bases to ensure their needs are met.

We've been taking our dog here for years. They know her by name, they all love her and she seems to have a great time when she goes. She is excited to see us when we pick her up, but never reluctant to go when we take her in. She is very comfortable with all the staff. They bath her before we pick her up (sometimes for free, depending on how long she has been there) and she is clean and well kept when we pick her up. It is not fancy, but they love the dogs and look after them, and it is reasonably priced. Great find and very convenient to our home in Brookside!

I love this place and so do my "kiddos." We've taken our 2 dogs here 2-3 times a week, every week for almost 2 years now. Our dogs get SO excited when I tell them they are going to doggy daycare. We've also used their boarding services a few times for 2-3 weeks at a time. I love that I have the option to have them bathe my giant monsters (for free with a 4 night stay) before I pick them up. The staff is super friendly and it's evident that they care. I also love that they post frequent pictures of playtime so I get to see my monsters while I'm at work.

This place took amazing care of my 5, big, crazy fur babies over thanksgiving! The owner and the whole staff were very accommodating and very down to earth. My dogs seemed like they had a great time! I will say that there was one girl who wasn't OVERLY friendly to me personally, but I don't really care as long as my pups like her.
