My dog had an accident and suffered a pretty nasty gash - I was able to get it under control for the evening, but Care First got us scheduled for an appointment first thing the next morning — even though we weren’t even existing clients. They were timely in seeing her upon our arrival, transparent about all costs in advance, attentive to me and to my dog, and provided quality and compassionate care in their treatment of her. This vet is not as close as our existing provider, but after such a positive experience (and knowing they have more extensive hours) - we will be back. The total cost of the services was also not as expensive as I feared - I feel like the treatment and costs were appropriate and fair. I reccomend Care First Animal hospital at Glenwood!

Carefirst is the absolute best vet ever! I'm so pleased with them every time I take my dog there. The employees are very loving, caring & compassionate. I love the attention they give my dog and how they try to keep him relaxed since he does get nervous going to the vet. I highly recommend this place for all your pets needs. My mom and I both take our pets there and they always talk to us and see how we are doing. They will always ask me how my mom and her dog are doing. We recently moved over an hour away but I still make the drive there for my dog because they are the best!

I cannot say enough good things about this hospital and the entire staff. Our dog had to have emergency surgery and several days of intensive care which followed. Dr. Moats and Dr. Mendise called us several times every day, provided us with updates every step of the way, and answered every question we had. In the afternoon, we would go visit our dog and the Techs would make him very comfortable and let us stay with him as long as we wanted. My dog who was typically very nervous and anxious I could tell became very comfortable with the staff. Unfortunately, we had to eventually say goodbye to our dog. They stayed after hours so we could go see him one last time and be there with him at the end. As difficult as the week was for us, it was very comforting knowing that he was in excellent hands and taken care of when we couldn't be with him. I would 100% recommend this hospital, the Drs, the Techs, and the rest of the staff.

After moving to the area I decided to board my cats here over a holiday, they took amazing care of them, so I decided to make them my primary vet. They are amazing to say the least. They have given each of my pets the very best care, and when my kitty had to have emergency surgery, they comforted me and assured me he would be okay. They updated me every step of the way and even asked me how he was doing when I brought my puppers in for her vaccines. Thank you for being the best🩷

This past week we had to put our cat of 14 years down. It was certainly not easy on me what so ever. I came in crying and felt no judgment at all by the workers. The staff is very friendly and our vet talked us through the process which was very comforting. After we put our cat down, a week later we received a card signed by all the staff which made me feel happy. Just when I thought that was nice enough the following day they sent us flowers. Truly grateful for such a comforting experience. Happy my cat was in good hands. Thank you!
