I lost my cat, Milo, in May 2023. It was by far one of the hardest experiences I have gone through. About a week or two later I went to the Cattery. Actually, I went several times. I was considering adopting, but my heart was not ready. They were very understanding. Through out the next year I got to know the staff better and what their mission and heart was. I was lucky enough after over a year of healing and making sure I was ready, to adopt again. I’m very grateful for not only how they help the community, and cats , but also how they help their customers. (Adding pictures of my new cat Thomas.)
The #1 place to adopt your kitten or cat. They are already vaccinated, neutered, spayed and litter box trained. They are free-roaming and this is a no-kill facility. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and patient. They accept donations and offer vaccinations. Should you have any future adoptions consider the cattery.
Excellent staff and they do a wonderful job with spay/neuter services. Also, give shots and claw trimming. I am very happy with my experiences at The Catttery. 😽💕
I adopted my newest kitty from here, and from what I experienced, they have a great staff that is informed about all the cats. You can tell they have a love for the animals and want to find them a wonderful furever home
As a Google local guide I will only post honest reviews. I would first like to mention that it's obvious there is something wrong with the reviews posted by Tony Devenuta, A.R. Jones, and The Jones Ranch. All posted at the same time and stating the exact same thing. They obviously have some vendetta that should be left off social media. Sad when so many shelters are at max capacity. The Cattery Cat Shelter is a cage free, no kill cat shelter that is home to up to 200 cats at one time. Cats are free to remain there until they find their furever homes. They also have several special needs cats they love and care for that will furever live at The Cattery. The staff is pawsome and they have created a community that spans around the world. Adoptions are done through appointments so you can work with a counselor to find your purrfect match. They are also at PetSmart in Moore Plaza on weekends for walk in adoptions. All cats are spayed/neutered and have age appropriate vaccinations prior to adoption.
Since my review was deleted , This place is extremely ableist. My mom who is disabled took me here to get MY OWN cat , I have had many baby pets before and my mom has never ever had an issue with me caring or fostering these babies , they immediately told me I wouldn’t be able to adopt a baby because of my mom and her being disabled ; when my mom stated that it wasn’t for her and she didn’t have no problem or worries about the pet I am taking full responsibility of they still told us no. I talked to the manager because my mom was extremely hurt they were only worried about her disability instead of the fact we’ve done took care of plenty babies before . I’ll never come here again It was so disappointing and disgusting to be told that and we went to Golf Coast Humane Society instead who welcomed us and gave us my baby bean ! Please don’t come here unless you’re perfect. They really hurt my moms feelings , they should be ashamed
