We adopted our dog during an adoption event and it was the best thing we ever did. She is super sweet and kind and we have been able to train her. She had heartworm when we adopted her and they have been able to help us with the treatment. We appreciate how kind they have been to us and how well they have treated our pup. Thank you for all the great things you do for all the fur babies out there. Hopefully in the future we will be able to adopt another dog or cat when we have more space .

My sister & family recently traveled from San Antonio to choose a cat. They were so impressed with the GCHS!!! It's clean, the animals are well cared for, the adoption process was very efficient. Hannah knows each cat very well! Dr. Whitlock, the Vet, also assisted with the adoption. The entire Team from the front desk forward were welcoming and thorough in their vetting process for the family and the pet. I take my pups routinely to the monthly clinic. Shout out to Sarah, who is the BEST, always. We are fortunate to have this facility/staff to support the animals and our community! Thanks to all at GCHS.

I had a situation where I needed to give up my dog. I called everywhere and came across this site. I emailed them my situation and received a call from Diamond. Wow!!!! Phenomenal person. God sent. She is helping me keep my dog. Working with me and apartments. The director from here, which I don't know personally,, amazing for making all this happen. They are all about keeping animals with their owners. Amen. They do have many resources and you just have to ask to find out! Thanks to all of u!

Rude rude woman who does the cat intake with the blue nails and the blue hair. Super rude turned away just because she said "No I have to test 10 cats today and its 2 tests each, and you need to make an appointment" Okay, and what if I found the cat on the side of the road and cant make an appointment? I shouldn't have to pay an abandonment fee for being a decent person and saving a cat, makes me not want to rescue animals. It's literally your job to intake cats I saw 3 days before you were boasting about 30+ adoptions you have to have room for 1 single cat. Id understand if it was a mama cat and 6 babies but it was 1 cat. Honestly I am no longer interested in supporting this organization due to the experience I've had.

Just recently adopted Simba AKA Blake. It was an easy process. My son also adapted a blue heeler the same day.

I told them I was going to adopt a kitten and went home to grab supplies for 1 hour. The sociopathic yt lady that works with the kittens and like to grab them super aggressively gave it her all to get rid of the kitten before me and my grandma returned an hour later. Very fake and slightly sociopathic reaction when we arrived an hour later. I ended up getting another random kitten because I was to stunned too think. Luckily it worked out and I love our new kitten but some of the staff are bad people.
