I honestly do not like wasting my time, so I called in advance to make sure I scheduled accordingly. I went to adopt, and they couldn't help me because adopting hours aren't till 1Pm-5PM, which wasn't communicated to me. I took a picture, so the hours are clear.

Called to ask if there was any room for kittens my cat had , but was meet with a rude and unprofessional employee . Was then asked about my financial situation and told i shouldn't own a pet if i cant afford them ! Really consider who's taking these calls because this makes me believe their morals aren't good when their employees are so negative themselves . DO BETTER ! And properly train your staff on customer service . I pray they don't take their anger out on the animals like how they did to me on the phone . anyways anyone want to adopt cats in the cc area . highly recommend The Cattery Cat Shelter !

** to top it off they couldn't even keep my dog secure until pet crematory came for him. They already had him getting cremated because of the workers "lack of communication". This is truly pathetic work. Do better!! My dog had been paralyzed from his back legs 2 years this morning the thunder made him get out of front yard fence to end of my yard. About an hr after someone called animal control to report him they said that he may have got hit by a car not that they saw him get hit. Well I arrived to animal control 1 hour later after finding our on Facebook what happened when I got home. And they couldn't even tell me if they had him until I finally said he was brought here and he's not outside because that's what front desk said to do. Then she said I guess I can try to find him whats street he was found I told her my street she looked it up said oh the person who reported him said "they saw him get hit by a car so he's been euthanized." She had 0 compassion. Especially since she had already made me go in the back with the dogs that were all still alive. Meanwhile my dog had already been murdered. My dog had no muscle mass in his back legs and he wasn't in pain he just had a big scrape on his inner thigh from where he had dragged himself before. A good vet would have known that. They just were trigger happy I guess. Next time give a dog owner a chance at least a day. You took a family member today for no reason! RIP Maximus my sweet boy. May your doggie soul fly high 🙏 ❤️

A368141 A starving German shepherd said to be rescued by CCCAC... He was bring discussed in a FB padre Island group since 3 days..since he was apparently abandoned. He's chipped because his name is Yeti according to them. There was no update after CCCAC got him on 5/12/24. We called this morning to find out if he was still there. Animal Shelter said yes and that we can come today between 1-5 pm We are here and he's GONE! They won't tell us what happened to the dog I'm heartsick We have put in an open records request It will take upto 10 days for info 😪 Evil monsters. They killed him..

animal care service, more like animal DOESNT care services. Called at 7 in the morning because i was going to my bus stop and saw a kitten bleeding from behind by a main road, and dehydrated so i called animal service, and they said they will send an officer right away, so i had to leave the kitten because I had school so i gave it water before i left. Came back from school and on my way home still saw the cat 9 Hours later. Found the cat dehydrated close to dying, and in poor condition. Called animal service again and the lady on the phone gave me attitude telling me I should just bring it in myself if i really cared, so I had someone else take in the cat. Terrible customer service skills.

called many times to report aggressive dog ! 3rd call was my cat being killed by the same dog and still haven’t gotten back from them 3 weeks ago! yall suck, if i could rate 0 i would in a heartbeat.
