We used this location and the Mill Run location for years for our beloved Zoe. We enjoyed the vets, the staff, and boarding! After a move, we chose a different vet simply due to location. We let them know we moved and they sent her records over to the new vet. To this day I am still getting postcards, emails, and now texts about Zoe who passed away in March of this year. My husband called and again let them know we don't go there anymore AND that she passed away. We continue to get postcards and notifications about Zoe being due for XYZ. At this point, I'm in tears every time I see something from them. I don't know what else to do?!?!? Please make all notifications stop!

VCA Sawmill is my go to for my cats care. I needed to bring my cat in today last minute due to some issues. Dr. Beckett was sooo nice, so laid back. He was easy to talk to and made sure I understood everything. He discussed follow up care if needed so I know he really cares about pets and their well being. Now I have several doctors there I feel comfortable taking my kitties to!

Sadly had to put my cat down today. Dr. Middlebrooks and the nurse Makayla were both spectacular. They were very compassionate and explained the process so I would know what to expect. They also gave me as much time as I needed to say goodbye to one of my best friends and I never felt rushed during the whole process. I appreciated them also moving me to a room that was away from most activities so it was quiet and had a cozy couch for us to spend our last moments together.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Middlebrooks since I got my dog as a puppy (he’s almost 6). Dr. Middlebrooks is amazing but the front desk people are anything but. I walked in for my 8:45 appointment, that I had scheduled taking time from work and got skipped over. When asked how much longer it would take she suggested I take off of work tomorrow as well and proceeded to tell me it’s first come first serve even though we had an appointment. Beware: if a 10am comes in and checks in at 8:30, it doesn’t matter when your appointment is, they will skip you over and make it first come first serve “depending on the flow of what the tech wants to do”. Does this make sense? It is sad that some of the staff is prejudice and discriminates against colored individuals. Leo and I will unfortunately need to find a new vet.

This USED to be an amazing Vet. Yet the last 2-3 years as they have became a bigger brand the care and cost have become a huge concern. My dog has had a number or major issues yet the options I've been presented with have not been cost efficient or logical as someone with a 4yr degree and I've also consulted with other vets offices and professionals. Yet it seems I'm always presented with the most expensive options first. Now more recently I've been told the medication shes been on to keep her comfortable in her old age is unable to be dispensed because I mother human maybe abusing the drugs lol at this point this place has become a money guzzling joke. While I understand there are rules and guidelines on place I feel.insulted at this point and will be transferring my baby to a smaller.practice where I will be respected and she can get more personalized care. I've been feeling a way about this vet for a while now but after being indirectly told I maybe abusing.my dogs drugs I'm over the entire staff and honestly it took everything in me.not to go off. Once these places become large corporations the care and human connection goes out the window

These great veterinarians checked out my cat CoCo quickly. Got two vaccines including a rabies one for 3 whole years. Affordable, too.
