The experience was quick and the service was excellent. I am so glad I took a chance! I now have a beautiful cat that I adore! She has been a better match for me than I could have ever possibly imagined.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank Yolanda Farmer that helped me with a stray pickup. She made sure the puppy was picked up and taken back to the shelter the same day. I had called once before and no one ever showed up. Ms.Yolanda was very professional and very helpful! I am so glad she helped things move along so the puppy was off the streets where he could've potentially gotten hurt.

The reason I’m giving Cobb county a bad review is because this shelter can’t help me. First of all the lady I had called yesterday morning had been really rude to me and she also couldn’t give me the information I needed. To be honest this shelter won’t tell you any information of your animals that you put here so if you still want information of the animal you turn in here do not turn in your pet here. The lady also said it wasn’t my business even though it was my cat I wanted to check in on. But the lady didn’t believe that it was my cat even though I have proof. She was the only rude one here. But I guess if you need information of your animals you turn in. This shelter is not the place. To be honest I’m starting to believe that my cat is not alive anymore because how hard would it be to give me the information of my cat I just want to know if he was okay and who he went too also he got adopted to quick which was kinda hard to believe cause of how most animals be staying in shelters for a long time but I’m gonna have to not know because apparently my old cat that I left here is not my business anymore according to this shelter I will forever miss my beautiful cat. I’m also starting to believe that my cat might be dead because with that information which is barely information that they gave me and how Could have been Pretty sure it takes a few days to adopt, but Somewhere nice, and hopefully he’s still alive living his best life.

I walked into the shelter 3 days ago - not knowing that I would leave with my “furever friend”. I visited the cat room and saw a kitten looking directly at me from his cage. He literally stood right on up. I told the officer that we would like to adopt him. Yeah, I didn’t hesitate at all. Things work a bit differently at this shelter. You have to be on a waiting list to adopt and it’s in numerical order. See, it’s my second time visiting and I wanted to make sure I was first this time. I don’t know if people believe in higher powers but whatever it was …. it worked in my favor because I was able to take him home on the same day! I named him Neo and he’s such a sweet boy. Thanks to the staff.

Update: We adopted a cat. We picked one out that we had to wait for it (the cat wasn't up for adoption yet). The cat was showing signs of being sick and we didn't know. A week later we were able to adopted the cat and brought him home. He was much worse at this time. We ended up take him to the vet and they told us he had 'Kennel cough' (over $200 for the visit with medicine). Kennel cough can be very serious, and it's very contagious. Now our other cat has it. Now I don't think they love there's animals, just want a turn over. Do to being told that there was no medical notes about it nor someone even 'realizing' that he had it. They don't care because 'you adopted as is'. Just wow. Original Post (w/ 5 Stars) They love their animals and want them to go to happy and loving homes. Very helpful and caring. Specially when you're looking for lost animals.
