I moved 40 minutes away from this vet and we still make the trip back every time the dogs need something. Always the nicest and most helpful staff. For 10 years, our dogs just saunter right on in and get the best care. To be honest, so do we. We have gone here for everything from first puppy shots, routine check ups, anxiety meds, allergy care, emergency sock removal, teeth cleanings, and the hardest of decisions. Dr Clayton and Dr Johnson give thorough & level-headed advice, high quality care, reasonable vet costs, but most importantly they feel like family. 10 stars.

The staff at Memphis Animal Clinic are so pleasant and welcoming. They have been so helpful and supportive. Most of all though, I love that Dr. Clayton got down on the floor to greet my dog the first time she met him. It put him immediately at ease. He loved her. Then, when I brought my rescue in for her first experience, Dr. Clayton talked to her while she was doing all the stuff that typically makes a dog yelp or shiver. My baby did neither. She too was at ease. When you have fur babies that mean the world to you, it only stands to reason that you want the best for them. I have found that with Dr. Clayton at Memphis Animal Clinic.

I took my ill dog in, and they said she needed surgery. I was quoted 1 price. I signed the paperwork and took my dog in the next day to drop her off for surgery. The doctor decided that I wasn't charged enough, and she pulled me into a room, and literally started negotiating prices with me. My mind was blown. She looked at me, and decided to go for a money grab, and played with my poor ill dog's life and my emotional state, to get more money out of me. She literally tripled the price from the original quote, and started negotiating the price, based solely on what she assumed I could afford. The vet at this clinic is completely unethical, and I'll never set my feet in this despicable establishment again. Beware, the vet tried to use my dog's death bed as an opportunity to extort me. The actual doctor was the culprit, not the staff. Regardless, I took my dog to an ethical veterinarian, and my dog is healthy and thriving.

If I could rate a zero I would. I will never bring my animals here or recommend anyone to come here. My baby was there for a boarding assessment and they didn’t even try and feed her anything when I even provided food. She is to have access to dry food 24/7 as I wrote in her paperwork and informed the woman at the desk. They didn’t put her toys again, I provided in her cage for the whole day. She was there from 8:30AM to 3PM when i got her home she was starving and thirsty. The people at the vet when I confronted them about her not being fed said “ sometimes we feed them sometimes we don’t” and acted like they didn’t have a clue about anything I asked. 0/10 should’ve NEVER brought my baby to this HORRIBLE excuse of a vet/boarding facility.

Great service and caring. I found my current dog in park over 10 years ago. I brought him to Memphis Animal Clinic to see if had chip or if had connection to fosters. Fosters were full in August. We have been blessed by our dog and care at Memphis Animal Clinic ever since finding our sweet dog.

This was my first visit to Memphis Animal Clinic. The employees were helpful and professional. Dr. Lynn Svoboda has treated my animals for 25 plus years. She is friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable. She goes above and beyond to provide the best medical care possible. I look forward to working with Memphis Animal Clunuc in the future.
