Description At White Rock Animal Hospital, we do not require your pet to have an appointment to be seen during regular office hours. Drop-offs are encouraged, as it gives our staff time to fully evaluate your pet's medical issues and complete all necessary procedures that are indicated. We are happy to schedule you an appointment if you work better on a schedule. Our only required appointments are for surgical procedures, extended diagnostic testing, radiographs, EKG, certain laboratory tests, or biochemical assays. These appointments are needed to give our staff plenty of time to complete the procedures and have time for doctor interpretation and review before dismissal.

Had another exceptional experience with Dr. Williams and her team! They take such great care of my rescue pup Radley. Radley usually thinks everyone is suspect and scared. However, not here! He ran in wagging his tail and happy to see is thoughtful and caring friends! This is the only vet I will ever trust with my pups. Thank you again Dr. Williams, and your incredible team of professionals, Radley and I appreciate your dedication and care! ❤️

Dr Hawthorne and the team at White Rock are my new go-to team. I've never had such wonderful, caring vet services in one of the hardest periods of pet ownership. 10/10 recommend them for their speed, flexibility, communication and care.

My fiancé and I took the newborn kitten and our dog to the vet. While we were there, the lady who checked us in displayed a bit of attitude, but we didn't pay much attention to it. She then led us to the room and asked us questions about the kitten and dog, this time with a positive attitude. Soon after, a nurse came in and took the kitten, but another nurse, who’s black, displayed attitude when I tried to explain that my dog doesn’t bite when putting on the muzzle. She cut me off, insisting, "Oh no, he bites. He was trying to bite us." This surprised both my fiancé and me because every vet we've taken him to in Tulsa has loved him and never mentioned anything about him biting. I attempted to explain that perhaps they were being rough with my dog, but she kept insisting that he was trying to bite. Reluctantly, we agreed to put the muzzle on. Later, when she returned and said something, I tried to ask her to repeat herself because my fiancé and I are deaf and hard of hearing. Instead of accommodating us, she said, "I need you both to scan his microchip because he’s trying to bite us." We were taken aback, wondering if this was part of her job or if the doctor should be handling such situations. When my fiancé attempted to comply, she gave him attitude, prompting me to speak up, questioning if it was our responsibility. She replied, "Well, your dog is trying to bite us." I couldn't hear what she said next, but I began to speak up before she interrupted, saying, "He doesn’t have a microchip." We insisted that he did, as we had spent money on it, and his microchip information was readily available. She then dismissed us, saying something along the lines of "If you don’t want to, then don’t worry about it," but her tone wasn't positive. She left, and we were left with a different nurse. Also, we felt misled regarding the cost of the visit, as we were initially told it would be around $300 to determine what was wrong with the kitten. Sadly, we couldn't save the kitten as it had ingested something toxic. It's now resting peacefully in the Lord’s hands. So, our experience at the vet was disappointing, and we won't be returning.

🐾 If you are looking for an amazing vet, we recommend Dr. Hawthorne at White Rock Animal Hospital. He has compassionately navigated us through the passing of 2 of our beloved labs and literally saved our “counter surfing” lab puppies from an accidental overdose. We will be forever grateful and know our fur babies are in the best hands.

Absolutely wonderful place to have your pet cared for. The staff were so kind to me. My puppy was sick and I went in just before closing time. They took great care of my puppy and treated me so kindly. I highly recommend their services. My puppy is feeling much better this morning.

I had to come here with a sick pup 30 minutes until they closed. They took in my puppy last minute and treated her with the utmost care. They provided me with all the medicine she needed to get better and the whole process was very quick and efficient, so I could get my puppy home to rest. I will be back here if anything comes up again! I appreciated the front desk associate as well as the doctor who provided great and fast service. Thank you all for treating my puppy!
