We were at a loss before finding Gentle Touch Animal Hospital. We adopted an adult shelter dog that came pre-conditioned with an absolute and terrible fear of vets, mostly because of what had been done to her in the past. We were at the point of of not being able to get the most basic care for her, until we found Dr. Dunham, who somehow found a way. I can't recommend the whole team enough. This dog has been the greatest gift to our family, and I can't imagine not being able to have her in our lives, and care for her in return. We have gentle touch to thank for that!! They have also been great with our new puppy friend, who thankfully has only experienced the good people at Gentle Touch and is not afraid. We can't recommend them enough.

My cat actually.. dare I say it... enjoyed her visit (note the pics of her climbing all over everything since the room is set up to be cat-friendly, and patiently sitting for her BP). Dr. VanKoot and the rest of the staff were awesome. He's great with cats and thoroughly+patiently answered my endless questions. I unfortunately moved out of state so I haven't been back in a while but finding a new vet has been tough after the high standards everyone here set. Thank you all!

I have been meaning to bring my cat in somewhere to get checked out for months, but have been putting it off. We’ve had a bad experience before somewhere else and I do have a crazy cat. Haha. But Dr. Guilbert and her staff was truly amazing! I felt like she genuinely cares for the animals and it made my anxiety around the vet go away. I am so grateful they could help us!

We have been coming here since Koko was a baby! The staff is increíble and they truly care about your furbabies! They text you the following day to make sure everything is going well, and that means SOOOO much to us. We are in the care of Dr. Dunham but everyone truly cares about your pet here!! Our last vet left primary care so we switched to Gentle Touch Animal Hospital. We just completed our 3rd visit and we are impressed. Our dog is our baby and they completely understand this. They are friendly, practice fear free vet care, keep pets calm and both vets we have seen there have been great. Vet techs, assistants and reception staff are nice as well. We discuss all treatment options and then we choose which one is best with no pressure at all. I also appreciate that they will give you an estimate of costs based on what the pet is there for, which of course can change if things escalate to needing more care. Their prices are reasonable, compared to our last vet. Love that we can book appointments on their website and they have a great online pharmacy as well.
