Description We are a foster-based animal rescue and we do not have a physical shelter to view animals. To view adoptable animals, please visit our website and submit and application. PawsCo is a 501(c)3 animal welfare organization based in Denver, Colorado. Our mission is to give vulnerable animals an opportunity to thrive by engaging the passion of our Colorado Community. Because we are foster-based, we do not have the resources to accept owner surrenders or animal relinquishments.

I am incredibly grateful for PawsCo! My experience with all of the staff throughout the adoption process was very pleasant! Everyone was very understanding and kind, and cared very much for the animal! As a first-time adopter, the process was very easy to follow and I never felt lost or even stressed. Thank you to all of the staff and volunteers I interacted with! They were always willing to answer any questions and always made sure I knew my next steps. I am so happy with my adoption and I am so smitten and in love with my new family member :)

We recently adopted a precious kitten for PawsCo and could not be happier! I wish all adoption organizations put forth as much emphasis on ensuring that the adoption is a good fit for both human and animal. You initially fill out a pretty in-depth application and then have a phone conversation/interview with a volunteer to make sure it's a good fit. Our kitten was in a foster home (not a shelter) which meant he was more socialized and didn't have health issues you would see if you adopted from a shelter. Our other kitten was adopted from a shelter and contracted a nasty upper respiratory infection. What's more, volunteers from PawsCo reached out after the adoption to see how the new baby was settling into his new home. They even reached out to the foster when we had some follow up questions. Such a great organization!

PawsCo proved to be an excellent organization to collaborate with. Their operations are entirely volunteer-driven, and the individuals involved in both volunteering and fostering, with whom I interacted, were truly exceptional. They assisted me in locating my very first feline companion, demonstrating kindness and patience throughout the entire journey.

I always have Jung Lee do my hair cuts, beard trimming. Jung is outstanding! I'm sure the other hair cutters are good. I've just been having Jung take care of me for about 5 years. I give the whole shop five stars. Hospitality, friendly, and do a great job.

Many years ago now we got our, Zephyr from Pawsco. We apploed for Sweetie McGhee and after the application and interview we had thorough information regarding why she would not be the best fit in our home. The 2-month wait was well worth it. Zephyr is the glue of our family. Thank you for the important work that you do for pets and their lucky families!
