We adopted two beautiful, adorable kittens named Oliver and June from here. The adoption process went very fast and smoothly. Their foster mom, Bridget, was very sweet and receptive to answering any questions we had; we could really see that these two kittens were well cared for by both Bridget and the organization. Highly recommend.

I did not adopt my boys from here but they were more of foster fails. I live in Milwaukee and was recommended this place to get help in getting them both fixed. We took Boulder first (with the brown eyebrows) and had just a great (and funny) experience. He was so energetic after surgery they asked us to pick him up HOURS earlier then they normally release. With Hunter, I was already feeling anxious because he was sick when he was little and the runt of his litter. He has the typically pallet issues associated with Bully breeds and he is very highly anxious. I expressed my concerns to the staff when we arrived and they listened and validated my concerns. Surgery went well for Hunter until he suffered a medical emergency. The doctor called us immediately (luckily we were on the way back, but still an hour away). She explained what was going on and urged us to take him to he ER. However after telling her how far we were, she gave us her recommendations for how she could help in the mean time and we gave her the ok. We were completely devastated the whole ride fearing we would arrive to say goodbye to our boy. Luckily the doctors on call that day use the knowledge and skills they had and stabilized him before we got there. We took our baby home with meds and instructions feeling a bit better that we know he will be ok. Less then 30 mins after arriving home, he was back to his normal self. The doctor personally called the next day to check on him and we had nothing but great news to share. Thank you to all the lovely people that work there. You guys are amazing. **The photo of hunter with the green toy is the day after surgery!!

We adopted our latest addition to the family through Underdog Pet Rescue of Wisconsin. From the get go they were extremely easy to work with and talk too. You can tell that all of the volunteers and foster families care about the animals and we are grateful for the path they put our puppy on. She was well adjusted because of the attention she got early on and made the transition to our home even easier. I would recommend Underdog Pet Rescue to anyone looking to adopt a pet.

Foster name Curie. Renamed evee ! We love our girl and so does her big sister Elsa.We adopted her in September and they are still as inseparable as the day they met. Thank you underdog

They keep their website very updated with lots of Info on available adoptable animals. We got our Toby pup through them 4 years ago. Thank you for what you do Underdog! I want a playmate for Toby, but I'm still trying to convince my husband we can handle more than one pooch at a time.

Adopted a "project" dog named Kevin. He came from terrible conditions in a hoarding situation from Tennessee, and was probably the dog struggling the most to adapt to all the changes. He was super nervous, afraid of everything, and not trusting. After they talked to us to make sure we knew the difficulties we would face with him, they knew we would be a good fit with our backgrounds. We met him 2x and was lucky that he got close enough to us to try petting him once. It didn't phase us, as we knew would could give him a great life and get him to open up. We decided to go ahead with the adoption and Underdog made the process very smooth. They even followed up a couple times to ensure things were improving with him and he was adapting, as they knew he was a special case. Kevin has become a wonderful member of our family and his personality has changed so much so that people from his Underdog days would likely not believe it's really him. When we decide to add to our family again someday, we will absolutely give Underdogs dogs a look.
