I truly have nothing but great things to say about city dog vet and Dr. Stevens. I recently moved to Colorado and have been having a hard time finding a new vet that will replace the level of care and concern that I felt city dog had for my dog Nora. From basic visits to Nora receiving a skin cancer diagnosis, they were always so amazing at calming both my dogs and my own fears and anxieties and talked me through any question I had (and I had a lot)! Would recommend City Dog to anyone and everyone!

Dr. Andy and the staff are great! They are attentive and professional and care deeply about their patients. Great location downtown, but parking can be a little hard to find. They have a couple of spots available in the parking garage but they weren't well marked the last time I was there. I haven't used their grooming service but the pups coming out of the grooming area look happy, relaxed, and adorable! (Photo of a sweet old guy modeling his City Dog bandana.)

Michelle is an AMAZING groomer. We have a GSD and a Lab mix - both pretty big dogs and she is so good with them. She cares about the pup from head to paws (literally). She adapts her grooming to the dogs likes and dislikes, for example, my dog doesn’t like his belly brushed, so she uses a softer brush, which he enjoys. I would recommend her as a groomer 💯. Below is our pup after he was groomed.

A truly wonderful experience with the entire staff at City Dog Vet. Our pup loves vet visits. From Tami at the desk, to Taylor, Mollie, and Dr. Stevens - we know we are in great hands. The assistants, vet techs, and Dr. Stevens sit patiently with us while we ask all the questions as first-time puppy parents. I recommend City Dog Vet to anyone looking for quality care in Madison.

I’ve had dogs and cats for 28 years straight in four cities, and no other veterinarian has ever come close to as great as City Dog has been. I’ve now been in for routine stuff, emergency-ish stuff, and follow up stuff. Their approach is eminently caring and swift, their recommendations reasonable, and relative to so many, affordable.

Loyal client here! Anna and Andy are trustworthy and knowledgable doctors! They give very practical and appropriate suggestions regarding dog health and wellness. Michelle is the only groomer we go to when my boy needs a spa day! Tam, Olivia, and literally everyone we have interacted with at the clinic is super nice and genuinely loves what they're doing! Now a new member has joined the family and we take her to City Dog Vet & Grooming too!
