Dr. Loose is fantastic - we went last week for our yearly checkup and had a great experience. My two dogs felt comfortable thanks to her approach to making the exams fun, and I was impressed that she spotted a few things on my dogs that I hadn’t noticed myself and checked them out. She answered all my questions, and the exam and prices were all transparent and fair. Then this weekend, I ended up having an emergency and the entire team went above and beyond to help us. Dr. Loose personally spent her Sunday night guiding us on what to do, and was able to see my dog the next day and made us feel safe and comfortable. I’m so very grateful that we had a vet we could rely on in an emergency.

I love it here. Dr. Loose is no joke. She is straightforward and objective. She tells it to you like it is. She isn't here to waste your time or money. Her team is incredibly kind, friendly and reassuring. My cat got an exam here as well as dental surgery. Dr. Loose took incredible care of my baby. I am an incredibly anxious pet parent, but I felt so good about leaving him in her hands - you can just feel how much she loves and cares for animals. And she is damn good at her job! She picked up on things immediately that other vets never have. I also appreciate her educational posts on social media. I trust her 100% after only meeting her twice. (I rarely trust anyone when it comes to my cat.) The clinic itself is so cute and clean. There is a section for dogs and a separate section for cats which I love. (Why aren't all vets doing that?!) Plus the prices are unbeatable. Thank you to Dr. Loose and the entire team at The Neighborhood Vet!

We arrived at the vet right before close and they immediately took care of us and our cat even though we were a brand new patient. Wonderful, gentle people with hearts of gold. Everyone from vet techs to doctor. Our cat is feeling much better, and we are so glad we decided to visit the Neighborhood Vet. This will certainly be our vet going forward.

"Dr." Natara Loose is so mean, she should not work with animals, children, plants, or literally anything living. She came out and yelled at me, my roomie, and my puppy who is so cute, how can you be mean to her? All I'm saying is this person is the ONLY vet at the practice and she is an ice cold, big time meanie. I merely gave the second star because the rest of the staff is kind. Will not return here for fear I will be yelled at once again. Bedside manner 0/10.

Once upon a time, Dr. Loose had a brilliant small service doing house calls where they truly cared about their pet patients. Those days are gone. It's about churn & burn - all about the $$$ these days. Completely missed my cat's re-emerging cancer (despite having diagnosed it 8 years ago) - charged me $$$ for worthless tests that never tested checked for existing conditions. When my best friend passed, not even a condolence note. Loose just deleted his records from the N.V. portal. Truly stay away from this vet - there are far more caring services in Bushwick area.

Dr. Loose and the Neighborhood Vet is simply the best Vet I’ve ever experienced. We came in with our cat who had trouble urinating and a bloody stool, and she provided us with a comprehensive check up, gave us simultaneously empathetic and direct/clear info, and provided us with options on how to treat- and I loved that she told us what she would do if our cat was hers. 2 months down the line, our cat is free of bladder stones after following her advice (and luckily) w/o surgery. If we jumped into surgery immediately w/o trying the diet option first it would have both been a money drain and a terrible experience for our older cat. To top it all off, her prices are second to none in NYC. Thank you Dr. Loose and team!!
