Description Let us be the guiding light of communication between you and your dog! We are balanced trainers focused on providing the best possible experience, tailored to your dog and family! We want to make sure our clients and their dogs come first, and that each person that uses our company has the BEST POSSIBLE EXPERIENCE and no one falls through the cracks with a less than stellar experience. No dog is “too hard” or “too scary” and everyone will come home better and more confident than when they left! We offer specialized dog training, as well as board and train and hybrid programs for behavior modification and rehabilitation in real-world settings. Our programs are tailored to the individual dog and all behavioral issues.

We can't say enough good things about North Star and Kaylee. Cash was the most loving, energetic, out of control dog we'd ever had. Kaylee took Cash under her wing for the 2 week adventure camp and it made such a difference! I won't say Cash is a new dog, because he's still got that loving and energetic personality we adore. But he's no longer out of control. He's calmer, and we know a lot more about how to properly keep him engaged, how to properly work with him and still let him have fun. Kaylee was a total life saver for us and Cash. She updated us every day and took amazing pictures and video to see his progress. The only concern we had was that he was having so much fun, he wouldn't want to come home.

Kaylee was the most amazing trainer we ever could have hoped for!!!! She was incredible with our 2 y/o WILD man during his 2 week adventure camp. She helped him SO MUCH with commands, listening while distracted, walking on a leash, jumping up on people, and going out in public places. He listens to us SOOOO much better now and we’re finally able to take him with us on adventures, so it’s a win-win for everyone! I was genuinely blown away by the progress he made at camp, I still can’t believe it. My rebellious, stubborn, wild little man learned how to do things I never thought possible - PLUS he had so much fun! Kaylee provided the absolute BEST updates, pictures, and videos (literally so detailed and cute). She was seriously spectacular, I can’t say enough good things about her. She is magical!!!! My dog adores her and misses her!!!!

Morgan, our trainer, with North Star K9 is not only knowledgeable but also incredibly passionate about what she does. I was impressed with her patience, dedication, and the individualized approach she took with Sadie Mae. She made sure to understand Sadie Mae’s unique needs and tailored the training accordingly. I am thrilled with the results I have seen in Sadie Mae and I can confidently say that North Star K9 Training has made a significant difference in our lives. I feel like we made a lifelong friendship with Morgan, our trainer. North Star K9 Training deserves every one of its 5 stars.

Ellie was such a joy to work with. She has great knowledge and is very willing to share her knowledge. She is always joyful and kind and you can see how much she loves her job and the doggos she works with. Kelce will be heading to camp with her soon and we can’t wait to see the results! Kelce loves Ellie and our only worry is that he won’t want to come home! UPDATE: Kelce went to two week adventure training camp with Ellie. When he returned it was as if magic had happened. Lol. Well maybe not magic. But he is such a calmer, more well behaved puppy. But still his joyful, exploratory self. You can certainly tell the training is done with love. Ellie is just the best and sweetest and we will be forever grateful for her loving care and education of both Kelce and us. We are working hard not to undo but to reinforce all the things she taught our beautiful Kelce! Thank you! I have no higher recommendation to offer. You’re simply the best!

North Star K9 staff are rockstars! We sent our sweet, crazy golden pup for 2 weeks board/train and what a different it made. Lindsey and Chloe helped him go from crazy dog with no manners to learning and setting boundaries with keeping his same silly personality. We have already noticed such a big difference in his confidence and ability to focus since he has been home. I would highly recommend North Star K9 for all your training needs! And a huge THANK YOU to Lindsey and Chloe for loving our crazy pup and sending all the updates throughout the 2 weeks.

Wonderful they are the very best! Huckleberry is a large pup and we needed him to cut us some slack! Sent him to North Star and he came back a champ! Thanks to all the trainers that worked with him! Morgan had him eating out of her hand! People are scared of him because of his size and that’s unfair! North Star puts out magic! Huckleberry had his first day at work yesterday and he was just wonderful! Love, love, love North Star! Thank you all!!🥰❤️😘
