I literally live about 3 minutes away from this place. I told a neighbor that I was taking my cat in because he seemed like he was sick, and my neighbor told me they were expensive. 10/10 disagree. If I didn't have an appointment for my son, we would have gotten in a day sooner; which was very impressive to me. As soon as I came in, I was immediately greeted and brought back to a room with my cat. My cat was checked out quickly, and the vet was very kind and made sure I understood what they needed me to do to make sure my cat had the best chances of healing from his kitty cold. Afterward, I paid and left all within an hour for under $100. A day after our appointment, they called to check on my cat, and almost a week after the appointment, they called again to see if the medication had worked, and it did. Not only that, but I got a letter from the vet with a personalized, handwritten message. I felt like they genuinely care for the animals they see, and they made me feel very reassured for my older cat. Thank you guys so much! I'll recommend this vet to anyone I know in the area
This hospital has taken care of everyone of our pets I've had my entire life. They are personable and try to be cost conscious. I love the phone calls and cards you receive when your family member passes or is ill. They are very thoughtful and caring with their customers. Great with hard to handle cats. I'm sure it's not their favorite, but they do a great job making it as comfortable as it can be for all involved.
Susan, Emily and Dr Roach are absolutely amazing. I have been taking my animals there for 8 years. They are upfront and honest, always do their best to accommodate their clients and have a true passion for helping our babies live their best lives. I highly recommend Claycomo Animal Hospital for all of your veterinary needs.
Profoundly disappointed. We took our very sick huskador, Sierra, who had been vomiting for a month, to see Dr. Justin W. Roach, upon the recomendation of our regular vet. Our regular vet, Dr. Kathy J. Harris of Ray County Animal Hospital, lacked equipment to do any tests so we went to see Dr. Roach. Dr. Roach took a couple of x-rays and did blood work and could not find any issues. He also tested for Addison's disease, which came back negative. Dr. Roach advised us to get Sierra scoped at another vet, but he said that was going to run between $1500-$2000. We already paid him $1200 with no diagnosis or even an idea of what was wrong. The problem is we cannot afford to go see another vet and pay $2000 and walk away with no diagnosis or any possible treatment. My wife and myself feel cheated by the cost of service with nothing to show. I am glad to see all of the positive reviews for this vet, but we are very disappointed with with our outcome. What are we supposed to do now? I am not affiliated with any other veterinarian and have no reason to post this review other than we were ripped off.
Very thoughtful and kind staff. Doctor and staff show compassion and really care about my fur babies. Reasonable prices as well. They don’t rush you out the door and take time to explain and talk about your pets health. I won’t be going anywhere else anytime soon.
All of the staff at Claycomo Animal Hospital are amazing! There is no place else that I would feel comfortable bringing my 3 fur babies! The staff is always so welcoming! You can tell the genuinely care about our dogs. Thank you for all you do and always taking such great care of our fur babies!
