Wonderful hospital and dermatology department. Great staff, clean clinic, and thoroughness. Dr Rees and technician Shannon were wonderful with my cat, Phoenix, and communicated everything to my understanding, and had no problem answering any questions or concerns I had. I could tell by my cats demeanor that she was extremely content and comfortable with them and the clinic as a whole. I could tell that they handled her well when they treated her in the back treatment area, to the point that she patiently waited by the door for them until they returned. I would recommend them to anyone! Thank you Dr Rees from myself and Phoenix!

This is a wonderful facility. The communication from Dr. Kelley and the nurses was just amazing. It is so evident how much they care about their patients. they showed compassion for my fur baby and this fur mama. They were patient and loving and answered all my questions and even sent me pictures and a video as my pup was recovering from surgery. I will never forget them or be able to thank them for helping our baby.

I am writing this to hopefully give some education to other FRENCH BULLDOG owners. Medvet Dallas had great customer service but as far as education and information on IVDD I was not impressed. My 3 year old frenchie had his first IVDD flare up and I took him here late one evening as it seemed to be getting worse. The vet that saw him said he had a severe case and she recommended he stay overnight for MRI and surgery. Totaling 13-15k. I was very upset because he seemed to be in such bad condition it felt like my only option. She then said he could go home on med management but recovery is poor or another option was euthanasia. I decided to take him home and do med management and scheduled an appointment with my primary vet. My primary vet was upset that they just immediately wanted to “cut him open” And I agreed. He was on med management as well as 6 cold laser therapy treatments. Within a week he was 50% better and able to walk and urinate on his own again. It has been 8 weeks now and I feel confident enough to say he is back to his normal self with no issues or flare ups since. Just please do research and know there are alternatives.
