I couldn’t praise this place enough! I took my almost 3 year old Bernese mountain dog there for a neutering and the entire process with them has been such a breeze. The drop off went super smooth, I only had to wait about 10 minutes for them to come get him from my car. He was ready for pick up within a few hours and the lady who brought him out was very nice and knowledgeable about the recovery process and the medications. Even though my dog is an “adult” he still has so much puppy energy so I was worried about his recovery process. I emailed them with pictures and concerns and they replied back in less than 10 minutes saying everything looked good and I could come back to pick up some more medicine. When I got there, they already had his medicine ready to go! Everyone there is so nice, and Rome is so happy. His primary vet quoted us over $800 for the same surgery and PRCKC did it for a quarter of the price. I will be coming here for any other surgeries/concerns about my baby and will be recommending this place to all my family and friends!

Other reviews are correct about it taking a while to complete check-in/drop-off; however, this is only because they are intaking so many animals. The process was incredibly smooth and as streamlined as possible. My appointment was for 8:55, I hopped into the car line at 8:45/50ish, and was gone by 9:10. They called me right when my dog, Sophie, was out of surgery and pick-up took only maybe 20 minutes. I would recommend getting there early if possible like I was able to! Sophie's spay was Monday, and as of writing this on late Friday night, she's doing great. They sent us home with great and detailed instructions, and when I emailed with concerns earlier today they promptly responded. Sophie has had no issues with her incision site or her green line tattoo. She even was higher risk due to being a little bit chunkier and from being in heat, but they handled her with no issues. Even though it's a bit of a drive for me, I will be returning for future vaccinations and any other major surgeries; I recommend them very highly! They are affordable and do great work within the community for the pets and strays that also call this area home.

First experience in January for my pet. The wait in the car was a little bit unsettling for my pet. After sitting for quite a while a call to my cell regarding cost. The fee started at $70 then when I informed the clerk I was told it would be $40, I was offered a $5 discount, then another $5 discount resulting in $60 for 4 basic immunizations Would have appreciated an upfront price upon arrival to determine whether to stay or move on......once in the assigned line for over an hour with no way of driving out, you're stuck. Plan on waiting once you're directed to a line and haggle for payment.

What a great group! Professional, personable, understanding, and most important to me is their compassion! This is a wonderful place to bring your furry family!

My heart is full of emotion and gratitude right now. I can't recommend this animal hospital enough. I've had 3 cats neutered here in the past. They always work with me on the financials so that I can afford it. My latest feral rescue kitten was playing with his adopted siblings and his eye ball was punctured necessitating the entire eye to be removed. We were heartbroken and terrified that we wouldn't be able to afford it. Our local vet said it would be upwards of over $1200. We took him to KC Neuter and Spay. You have to arrive early to the Urgent Care Clinic since they only take the first 10 patients each day. We arrived at 6:40 am for the 8 am clinic opening. I also had planned to get him neutered this past weekend but the injury occurred. When all was said and done they did the neuter, removed the eye (eneucleation), and provided pain meds all for a price approximately at least 1K cheaper! The work was top notch. His eye looks clean and really well done. He is now recuperating here at home. I will be returning as soon as I can to get two more little girls spayed and two neighborhood feral girls the same. They are kind, compassionate and always do quality work regardless of how much you're able to pay. I thank God for them literally and pray they know how important and appreciated they are. Heart felt thanks to everyone who worked on Benji yesterday. Blessings to all who support this clinic, and to those that work there! TD McClain

Was a great experience for my pets, very fluid from drop of to pick up, had all the information needed and they took the time to explain and what do if we needed any after care. Would also like to recognize the lady at the check in and check out booth, she was so very friendly and sweet, so when you get great customer service you want to shout it out!!
