Some dogs go hiking off leash every day in the woods versus other dogs who go for short leash walks on the sidewalk in your neighborhood. We do not treat these animals the same. We recommend vaccines and preventative medicine based on YOUR pet’s daily life.

Just switched to Oz Rogers Park from a local vet office that went corporate. I couldn’t be happier! They are super friendly, accessible, respectful, professional, and patient. The front desk folks are attentive, and the waiting area has a calm vibe. They listened to all of my concerns, answered all of my questions, gave me options, and it never felt rushed. Procedures are also less expensive at Oz than my old place. And best of all, my reactive dog was laying on the floor getting belly rubs five minutes into the appointment. So thankful to have found them, and that they are just a few blocks away!

We took our two dogs in for new patient visits earlier this month. Oz was and has been completely excellent to work with for our dogs health needs. The facility is lovely, warm and inviting. The front staff are communicative and friendly. We met with Dr Jakubowski who was friendly, knowledgeable, and really listened to my concerns without being dismissive. She provided information for why she recommended procedures (a dental cleaning for one pup) and how that would be beneficial for his overall health and well-being. I love that I can text or call with questions and how clearly results have been communicated with us. Truly so grateful to have found a vet like this!

Oz is a great friendly clinic that you can trust to be gentle with your pets. When it comes to dedicated care, I feel they are too small of a clinic to be taking in this volume. It's hard for me to say any critique since this location is vastly positive! But, I'm getting this feeling in my gut with my most recent experiences. Their capacity shows in how they communicate with you, making you wait even during your scheduled visits, on the tips of their toes constantly throughout appointments, and making any extra time to talk about your pets wellness feel a bit like pulling teeth. If you aim to establish rappoire and a care team that is in-tune with your pet's history, I just can't quite advocate for this place to be the ideal spot, based on my experience. It might be a mixed bag, which is a tough doubt to chew on for their clinic prices.

Everyone was friendly from start to finish. We brought the whole crew, two cats and a dog. They have two doors, for cats and dogs, which is just a great idea and worked well for us. Everyone we felt with laid things out clearly. They broke things down well. Our vet was knowledgeable and fun to talk with. Our technician was so relaxed with the animals, and took time to interact with them on their term. All three responded really well to her, and calmed down quickly.

My partner and I had a fantastic first-time experience here at Oz Animal Hospital for our cat Mica, who is usually quite skittish during vet appointments, but did surprisingly well during the visit. The scheduling process was very straightforward and easy to do online using the Otto chatbox on their website. We were warmly greeted by the front desk staff upon entry and space itself was very cozy and inviting. The technician we worked with (Katie) was absolutely exceptional and treated Mica with such gentleness and care - which was much appreciated after the rougher experiences at our previous vet clinic - and the veterinarian (Dr. Willbright) was warm and knowledgeable. We also appreciated the clinic's transparency about costs, which were disclosed early on during the appointment. We will definitely be back and recommend Oz Animal Hospital to anybody looking for quality care for their pet(s) in the Rogers Park area!
