Just had my first appointment here and the vet was outstanding! When I first walked in I didn't get any bad feelings or vibes from the establishment. Everyone was kind and welcoming. If you're considering bringing your four legged family member here I would encourage you to do so.

My dog just had dental surgery which cost over $1000. As a courtesy, they offered to clean her ears, which they did not. When I contacted them to rectify the problem they wanted to charge me upwards of $100 to clean her ears. I am dissatisfied at the fact that they lied about the ear cleaning service regardless if it was complementary or not.The nurse that spoke to us today regarding the situation with flagrantly nasty and insulting coupled with incompetency, lack of integrity and lack of empathy for the animals in her care. Such a disappointment, especially in today’s economy. I expect the services that I paid for to be performed or any other service that was offered to be performed as promised. 7/6/24 After being made aware of the comment that you posted in response to my review of dissatisfaction with your services, I’d like to address this issue with the following: You are, and continue to be, extremely unprofessional, unethical and incompetent as a business. Who gave you permission to disclose the health problems or other services my dog had at your facility? Why do you think it is appropriate to discuss my personal and confidential information about my dog on your website? This behavior is extremely litigious and supports the fact that you are extremely unprofessional, unethical and incompetent! Whoever I spoke to regarding your failure to perform the ear cleaning services for my dog is a representation of YOUR business. If that individual communicates inaccurate information concerning your practice, it remains YOUR responsibility. If that person is not representing your business in an appropriate manner, why not terminate her? After all, she is a liability. Regardless of your reply, my dog did not receive the ear cleaning services that were promised, complementary or not. Now, let us be completely transparent - you did NOT perform the ear cleaning services because you were so busy exploiting my dog by taking pictures of her surgery in which you initially intended to post on your website. Those pictures were more important to you than for you to completely fulfill your medical task to clean my dog’s ears while she was under sedation, as promised! Instead of utilizing your time with the camera, you should’ve utilized your time to clean my dog’s ears instead! Why not express your apology with an appropriate, sincere, CORRECTIVE action? Why placate the incompetency of the employee, which by your own admission, misrepresented your company? Why should anyone patronize a business that fails to meet the minimum of expectations? Why not fulfill your obligations to clean my dog’s ears instead of making excuses? Perhaps you should consult a business module which clearly explains that it is better to have repeat customers than to abuse a single customer for a quick financial gain on one service. Please don’t offer me a rebuttal, instead, offer me a solution!

I recommend them WITH CAUTION. I adopted a dog (Moose)from Suffolk Animal Care who paid for the neutering. I thought. Apparently you still have to pay $40 for a cone they said he had to have. Well, isn't that part of the surgery? I called back to get a refund on the cone and was told no in so many words. It's really not fair and I called back to Suff Anm Care and they were less than helpful. Told me to call Monday and the person I had to talk to wasn't going to be in until the following Monday. I also paid for a heartworm test because the shelter hadn't done so in 4 months. And the dog had an ear infection. I didn't mind paying all that except the cone. I really feel slighted and that's really unfortunate. They just can't find it in themselves to refund me part of a surgery paid for by Suff Animal Care, a necessary cone I even said I didn't want if he didn't need it. It's never good feeling like I was taken advantage of. Not like that money won't go to the dog. Everyone was so friendly too, I'm very surprised at this.

Sprocket loves them and so do I! They are helpful with questions, even though I can be an annoying pet parent. He loves coming to visit, well except for the bird in the lobby..lol
