Love this store! After talking with the people in there, I’m a lifelong customer! They were so kind and welcoming. My kids and I left and all said how much we loved it in there.

Went to donate through the pictures with Santa at the Bentleys pet shop in Schaumburg. They were extremely rude the entire time. I didn’t have cash and the lady was so annoyed with me and rude. Tried to give her card info and it didn’t work nor did she help. So I gave them the 5 I had instead of the 10. While in line one of them kept showing me her tattoos and describing all of them without me asking?? And said something rude about her family? When my dog got her photo taken they overwhelmed her and held up a toy, didn’t realize there were treats until after that, obviously a lab would be more interested in! They disdainfully said well at least she had her head up in the photo. Not going to any donation event again.

Went here as a volunteer and this organization is amazing. They do such great work, you can tell the staff love the animals and do their best to have them trained along veterans. The veterans seem so grateful for the canines they are paired with and you could sense the special bond the dogs and veterans had with one another. Please volunteer here if you ever get a chance or donate! Great organization and very worthy cause.

This is a great location that is saving my life. They have accepted me and are training me and my service dog. Makes you so proud to be a part of something that is helping with my disability. Donations would be great especially if your at a point that you want to pass it forward. This is a great nonprofit.

I received a hostile call from K9s for Veterans today regarding a resident who moved in a service animal into an apartment building without our knowledge of the dog being a service animal or an emotional support animal. I was called "honey" and told "this won't be the last you here from me" while interrupting continously over the term of the phone call. I do not recommend this organization as professional in nature and would request that any agency of this type maintain protocol of professionalism and be audited by state and federal agencies to maintain that level of professionalism.

They are an amazing organization. They're great about you walking through the process of what is expected of you, ensuring the care of your future battle buddy, how to ensure you're successful in the program, and are willing to answer any questions you have. The trainers are very straight forward with training and gives of a lot of guidance/feedback during training. I love how straightforward they are and don't sugar coat things.
